well my cuz get he ps3 last wednesday...he have soul calibur street fighter so far...soul calibur graphics rel good..aite gameplay...streetfighter dissappoint for a hardcore sf fan....not as good as i expected in trems of combos an supers...graphics good though.....i just waitin for God of War 3 to come out to go by him aan pong it
so far for holidays i beat out hitman blood money, nfs carbon, crysis,, playin some SOF here an there.
hitman 2 silent assassin was my fav out of d hitman series...blood money still good

Silent assasin real nice, but the graphics on 4, awesome. You can also break someone's face and steal their weapon.

ya'll wii owners MUST get metroid prime 3 corruption....this game rellll bad a$$ jed....badder than conduit by far.....i had this resting down at home in plastic for d longest while but now decided to open it and try it out cuz i stick in d zelda...LOL
for a game that's been around a good while now for the console...it has better graphics and controls than most that i played so far....
i have No More Heroes as well that i was playing for a couple hours...nice solid Mature game for the wii....have some shitty parts in the game like the driving around an stuff but otherwise its a really cool hack n slash game...

but u dont have to be playing yrs like me to get good , practice daily 4 a couple mths with d settings on hardest & learn all d fighters moves , have plenty FAQs & utube vids on d net to learn but experience helps alot
if all goes well i might get a Wii on sunday from family coming down so we go both be wii owners ... :thumbsup:

The Wiimote's pointer effect works for one reason: IR tracking. The Sensor Bar is really an infrared LED matrix, and the Wiimote reads its position relative to this bar. So to test IR tracking, I loaded the Home Menu and then House of the Dead Overkill. In a light-challenging environment including open windows and artificial lighting, IR tracking was clearly superior on the Wiimote—pretty much perfect, actually. The cursor was simply more fluid and appeared onscreen with a more even frame rate than it did on either generic controller.
It wasn't that the Wii ever misread the position of either the Nyko Wand or the Mad Catz controller, it's that dragging the cursor with these remotes met occasional drops in frames. I'm nitpicking, but you can notice a real difference, side by side, in the menus. The Wiimote was the smoothest, then the Mad Catz, then the Nyko (though the generics were honestly pretty close). This principle proved consistent when playing HOTD later, as tracking the gun around with the Nyko or Mad Catz proved an ever so rougher experience than with the Wiimote. The game was still completely playable, the menus completely navigable. But the control went from an A to an A- on the non-Nintendo Wiimotes.
Then, after about an hour of play, the Mad Catz cursor failed to show on the screen—as if the remote could not track its position relative to the Sensor Bar. The accelerometer tracking was still working, however, which indicated that it wasn't a Bluetooth communication problem. And the other Wiimotes were functioning without problems. Reloading the Wii and swapping batteries could not fix this issue. Weird.

Then again, the Wiimote is pretty much only 85% accurate at any task to begin with.

When I purchased a Mad Catz controller for PlayStation (original) years ago, I regretted the decision almost immediately. Doomed by my cheapness to wielding the bulky, awkward controller, I vowed to never go generic again. Times have changed. Both Wiimote alternatives feel perfect in your hand, and the vibration on each is remarkably close to the real thing. The Nyko Wand's speaker is a bit on the quiet side—probably about half the loudness of the Wiimote and Mad Catz controllers. Maybe this decibel difference matters in audio-heavy games. I dunno.
I wasn't able to test the remotes with Wii MotionPlus, but Mad Catz, with their 1:1 duplication of the Wiimote body, promises me that there are no possible compatibility issues. Nyko, with body dimensions ever so slightly different than the Nintendo Wiimote (something you'd never notice in your hand), has found that while sizing wasn't an issue Nintendo's final firmware caused some "minor issues." Nyko will be updating the Wand with Wii MotionPlus compatible firmware in "all future shipments" and offering consumers who've already purchased the device a free firmware upgrade option.
Nyko and Mad Catz are a virtual tie when it comes to buttons. As different as the buttons may look, neither set feels all that different from the Wiimote during play. I will say, I prefer the B button (triggers) on both third party remotes to the Wiimote's. There is a little more pull in each that feels just right for gun games like HOTD. As for special tricks, Mad Catz includes none, but Nyko's Trans-Port technology allows their Wand to communicate with peripherals electronically. I've used their version of the Zapper, and without a mechanical link between peripheral and remote buttons, it feels better than Nintendo's official version. But we don't know how many peripherals will take advantage of Trans-Port, and besides, only Nyko will support the system.

others cost a lil less & thats exactly what u get : LESS ! .... buttons lay out further or awkward , stiffer directional pads & buttons too

true .. but u can download games on the ps3 from the play station store and the games are cheaper there .. like 18 US and ting ... but the console cant be modded yet :( not like i want to mod it anyways B)

well i 4get i have this ting put down 10 days now yes ... :shame: ....so 2nite i finally put it on & played d wii sports disc it came with since thats all i got 4 now
well this is d 1st time i actually playing a wii so having a wireless controller is very cool
games on this disc r very simple & just takes a few tries 2 get d hang of it .... graphics smooth but kinda simple\basic , characters : well it looks like they took 2 mins 2 draw it , reminds me of rayman 4 d ps1 ...i play ah hr of d golf & hr of d bowling , simple yet time consuming
because of too much simplistic graphics & gameplay id give d wii sport disc a 5.5\10
next wk i have 2 go get this ting modded & play mario which what every1 really buys a nintendo for .... :wink:

yea....the wii sports is more to actually demo what the controller can do.....
the graphics are xtremely lame....u'd really like the mario galaxy graphics though...crystal clear and very colorful

well my 10yr old nephew came over last wk & i saw he had some super mario bros on his gameboy advance & i played about 5mins but i cant watch that lil @ss screen so i now that mario bug has got me bad & im itching to get my wii modded so i can dl games 4 it & get my nintendo freak on ...man i sound like a heroine addict waiting to get his next fix ... :shame: ....... :lol:

ay casper i got d wii modded today & so i DL SUPER MARIO PAPER & i playing it about 1\2hr now ... have rel reading in it in d beginning but it going rel good , similar to d 1st SMB but with some added moves\features...rel clean nice graphics too... :thumbsup:
