Well, here's me in mine with my kama, maybe this will help. I have since changed the color of the elastic and the ankle spats, and completely switched shoes so it looks better. I'm saving up to buy a decent helmet as well since that one's made of foam and paper.

I bought some self-adhering window tinting for my visor. I haven't put it on yet because I have to remove the visor (which is a total pain in the shebs). The tint is cheap though. I think I picked up a roll for about 7 dollars or so.

I wonder if if any of the guys at *Caugh* mando mercs have started working on armor
made out of cold roll sheet, or even out of Titanium/Steel alloy strike face armor plate.
The stuff is very expensive but that's the price for something that's real and not simply a costume. I have seen some of the tutorials there made out of aluminum.

What I am trying to find is full sheets of the Titanium/Steel armor plate material from the manufacturer and all I keep running into is the distributors of finished products. With the work that Jor'urmankalar has done with his armor (can't wait to see pics), my idea of thinking was to get a design up that offers some measure of flexibility, and with the right material offer a great deal of protection, his description sounds like a good choice. The problem is the weight of the material... Bullet proof ain't light.

Here are a couple links that will give you an idea of the material product that I'm talking about.

I'm actually just using lexan, which is not that heavy, but at .25 inch thickness is bullet proof.

I wonder if you could make a Lexan version of Dragon Skin.
