An up and down month for Crewe then, going out of the league cup but sitting in the top 3 of league one, and still the possiblity of Billy Sharp joining.

Jon Ostemober will join Nottingham Forest in January for £720,000 this is what Ben Rowlands had to say about the offer.
"Well, we don't want to lose Jon he wanted to go when he heard about the offer, and thats to much of an offer to turn down to be honest. I wish him lots of luck at his new club."

Also there have been bids for Crewe star players Billy Jones and Pavel Suhaj, offers of £4,400,000 for Jones and £1,400,000 of Suhaj, Rowlands had this to say about that.
"I most be crazy turning them kinda of offers down, but we need our star players if we want to get the premiership soon. We have already lost a star player to Nottingham Forest, and he will be hard enough to replace, we just can't let players go everytime we get a good offer, no matter how good it is."
