The Postal Service, Idiot Pilot's electro-indie forerunners

There are a number of reviews I've read of Idiot Pilot that compare them to Electro-Indie band The Postal Service, so I desided recently to check them out. Apparently, it's a super-group, comprasing of memembers of Death Cab for Cutie (Also from Bellingham, Washington) and an Electronic band called Dntel.
At first, I wasn't too kean on it as it all seemed a mind 'soft' and 'mid-tempo', but what it does has is really viseral lyrisism. And the final song 'Natural Anthem' is a surprise Drum-n-bass wall of noice.

Well, what I was wondering was does anyone else have any opinions on these guys or what?

I have nevered listened to them. I sometimes things music was not allowed during my childhood. I'll be sure to give them a look in the near future.
