Passing Notes All those notes your actually passing during class, rather then writing that essay you've been putting off. Hence the name, note passing. But also snail mail, for those of you who haven't quite caught on to the not-so-recent advance in technology.

E-Mail Such a lovely invention. For those of us who are much too advanced to deal with snail-mail. But really, just another means of communication.

Staff Dorms These are much nicer than the student dorms, and only the staff members are allowed here. There is one professor per room, and each room is furnished with a four-poster bed, a mirror, a dresser, and two nightstands- one on each side of the bed. Each room comes with a tiny master bathroom and a small closet.

Boys Dormitories This is where all the boys, regardless of majors, will be living. The dormitory has a common room, and then bedrooms. There will be no more four boys assigned to each bedroom. The bedrooms are plain, there's simply four beds and four chests to hold the boys belongings. The common room is full of armchairs and oversized couches, a fire place, and some tables to do homework or studying at. There are large windows in this room which provide a breath taking view of the Eiffel Tower. The boys dormitories are located in the West Wing of the school.

Art Class This is for students who are majoring in art only. It is where they will spend most of their day. There are actually several rooms that make up art class, for it's a very broad major, and students will be sorted into more specific rooms, though they are encouraged to try many different mediums of art. There's the drawing room, the painting room, the photography room, and the sculpting room.

The Concert Hall This is a large room built for extremely good acoustics. It offers plenty of seating for the audience, each with an unobstructed view of the stage, and the decor has an older, classy feel to it. The concert hall is extremely nice, and Victore is renowned for it's music program.

Writing Class This is a large, open room, uncluttered and spacious. Long tables occupy the middle of the room, and windows on three sides provide lots of natural light- as well as the skylights above. There are drawers full of pencils and paper so students never have to worry about running out. Students can work in peace here, or listen to lessons that are sometimes taught. Sometimes only the poetry students will come to listen to lectures, other times prose writers will be the only ones in here. A schedule is always posted on the door, noting upcoming lectures and classes, as well as free periods, where all writing students are welcome to work.

The Theatre This room is set up differently than the concert hall, and it has a much larger stage. It's decor is reminiscent of classic France. There are several seats here to accommodate a large audience, each with a clear view of the stage, and there's several strategically placed microphones that provide good sound no matter how far away you are from the stage. There is a balcony and a lower section of the theater, both which offer seating to the guests.

Film Class Here students will learn the art of film. Whether they want to grow up to be a producer, director, or a cinematographer, they will get to experience every aspect of film-making in this class, though if they already have an idea of which aspect they would like to learn, they can focus on that. This class room is large, set up for lectures, but they usually work outside of the class room, and they often take trips outside of school.

The Library This is a vast library full of almost every book imaginable. They not only have French literature here, but literature from around the world. The library provides a good escape for those looking for some serenity outside of classes. It's cozy and full of large couches and tables where one can sit and read, and there's a large fireplace in the place surrounded by armchairs, a large couch, and a coffee table. And if books aren't really your thing, they also have plenty of magazines to read.

The Grand Hall This is a large ball room converted into a community eating area. Though students are allowed off campus during lunch, and many choose to eat outside, there are four large tables in this room, and students are allowed to eat here if they'd like. This also provides a good studying area at any time of day. For dances, the tables are moved, but generally they remain there.

Detention For those naughtier students, Detention is likely where they will end up. It's a small classroom full of desks, with the teacher's desk in the front, and a chalkboard. The students are allowed to do their homework, but not allowed to speak to each other or leave their seats. Detention is held for one hour everyday after classes.

The Pool Victore's large, indoor pool. It comes complete with a changing/shower room, and bleachers that are hardly used. The pool is deep, and has a diving board at one end. It's elaborately decorated with colorful tiles, and quite a beautiful sight- although no one's really looking at the pool, they're more concerned at looking at who's swimming in it.

The Field The lovely, grassy area in the back of the school. It holds a stand of unused bleachers, except for after school clubs or activities, perhaps. Since Victore isn't the most sporty school, the field is mostly used as a nice place to go for lunch, or a place to hang out whenever you want.

Café de Flore A modern little café that seems to be forgotten, squeezed between two larger stores. However, the atmosphere inside is quite nice, and there's a few small tables in front of the café for sunny days. Despite the fact most of France has forgotten it's existence, it seems to be quite a popular hang out for the students of nearby Victore Classical Academy of Art.

It features movies from around the world, but mostly focuses on independent French films, and popular American films. It's got decent prices and good seats, which makes it very popular with teenagers.

Moulin Rouge Moulin Rouge is the famous cabaret in the red-light district- so you better not let the professors catch you wandering around here! This place is often packed with tourists- adult ones, usually. Much of the romance from turn-of-the-century France is still present in the club's decor. The main feature at the Moulin Rouge is always the performance. While things can get a bit risque, it's still a very popular place to visit.

Luxembourg Gardens A gorgeous place to spend the day, the Luxembourg Gardens are the perfect get-away from school. There's a merry-go-round, a playground for younger children, ponds, and an inexpensive restaurant that offers both indoor and outdoor seating for people to enjoy the day. Musicians often come here and offer free concerts, and it's really a pleasant place to visit. The Luxembourg gardens are also home to the first model of the Statue of Liberty.

The Eiffel Tower The iconic Eiffel Tower is quite a popular tourist attraction, and it's always crowded. Whether you want to visit it on a sunny afternoon or watch it light up at night doesn't matter, it's always breath-taking. However, because it's so crowded, students don't often visit the Eiffel Tower.

Ozu A middle-class Asian restaurant, the decorations in here are traditional Asian decorations to complete the atmosphere. They give you generous portions of whatever you order here- and cook it right at your table. You can also sample their sushi bar during lunch hours if you're feeling particularly adventurous- it's got magazines and critics raving because of all the variety.

Taillevent An up-scale restaurant, this place is classy as well as pricey. It's a cozy little place, tucked away in a grand 19th-century town house off the Champs-Elysées, with paneled rooms and crystal chandeliers. The place is small, which adds romance and mystique to the atmosphere. The lighting is dim and there's plenty of candles, making this the ultimate dinner get-away for couples.
