enter phoenix veronica williams. but please, for the love of gossip girl, call her phoenix or nix. she's a rocking person, with seventeen strings on their guitar. you wouldn't want to mess with this 5' 9", 109 pound piece of work. there is a long road ahead, but for now she's toughing it out as a senior. so get in the car, and come along for the ride.

the poor girl is afraid of not having a career with either photography or singing, spiders, rejection, freshmen, and losing friends. but on the bright side, she has some strong points like, her smile, her legs, advice-giving, and singing. then again, not everyone is perfect. though she may not show it, she bites her lip until it bleeds, forgets to brush her hair every morning, flirts without knowing/wanting to, has a burn on her left arm from a toaster incident, rejects people she doesn't like harshly, uses sarcasm a lot, changes herself for others, and is swayed by other people's opinions. but enough of that. catch her on a good day with her theriot bear, a shopping bag, a gift card, no homework, a boyfriend, friends, TKAM, a camera, a microphone, and her cell phone. but catch her on a bad day with tons of homework, a cold, missing assignments, her period, zits, enemies, cheaters, an ex (boyfriend, or friend), dirty hair, and a dead phone/camera. now, dig deep down. we've all got secrets, and hers is that she is distant from her family most of the time because she's adopted. she fears serious relationships because in her first one, her boyfriend tried to go all the way with her after nine months and they broke up after that. ever since then, she's feared breaking up, also and usually avoids hooking up all together or breaks up with someone when they get too close. currently, this hottie is single. and of course, she swings on the straight vine.

Beginning life as an adopted child and not knowing it made Phoenix believe she could ask for things just as every other child did. When she found out she wasn't biologically related to either of her "parents", she stopped asking for things and separated herself from the family altogether. She was really quiet for a long time.

When a custody battle broke out, Nix learned how to speak up for herself and gain her own rights. After the battle was over, Phoenix became more social at school, up until she was sexually molested. She became quiet again and gave absolutely no one any clue as to why the change had occured.

High school led to new beginnings and new chances to start over. Phoenix took that chance, and became friends with people, being sure to keep in touch over breaks and sick days. Then, the molester came up in the news and Nix learned a hard lesson: speaking out for yourself is the best thing you can do.

i'd say her hair is pretty nice. it's this wonderful brunette color, and has such a nice look to it. usually, it is scrunched and is pretty nice. her eyes are a mesmerizing shade of blue. and she's got six piercings - two on the lower ear, one cartilige, and a belly button one. great looks, right?

Since Nix didn't know either of her parents, she can't really thank either of them for her looks. She has long, chestnut brown locks that land at about the bottom of her chest line. Normally, she wears it scrunched or in a ponytail, leaving her bangs hanging wherever they land, which is mostly over her left eye. Her part is usually set from right to left everyday.

Nix's eyes are a foggy blue when she's thinking, and a not-so-cloudy color when she's listening to something someone is saying. She tends to blink a lot, and raise her eyebrows in the slightest way when she's shocked by something. As for her nose, it's usually scrunched, as it is very sensitive to smell. And her lips are sometimes curled up in a smile or in a line, but never frowning.

When we're talking about looks besides facial features, Phoenix got it going for her. No, she doesn't have a Kim Kardashian but or Queen Latifa breasts, but she's doing pretty good. She's tall, used to her height, and has really long arms. All the better to hug with, right?

Phoenix's dad died in a car crash on the way to see his new daughter in the hospital. Because her mother was so young and unmarried (twenty), Phoenix's grandparents shunned the family, and there was no financial aid coming from either side. The only option was to put baby Nix up for adoption, and, though it was hard, it had to be done. Phoenix was picked up by two loving people, Danielle and Derek Williams, who couldn't seem to have a child of their own. They raised Phoenix off of artificial breast milk, taught her how to walk, and taught her how to talk. They didn't tell her about her parents, nor did they tell her about her being adopted. That is, until Danielle got pregnant and Phoenix overheard the doctor saying, "You can finally have a child of your own!" at which time she turned to her father, pulled on his suit pants, and questioned what she meant. He explained it to her using the following words, "Your mommy and daddy gave you to us." She didn't understand it at the time, but later she grew to know it and embrace it.

After that day at the hospital, Phoenix was a ver quiet child, always doing things for herself when she could - she even tried to take a bath once and nearly drowned - and be happy with what she had. She never asked for anything after that, not even to touch Danielle's belly as the baby grew. When her new "sister" came, Nix especially tried to distance herself from the family, which no five-year-old should ever have to do. Five-year-olds should be learning to be reliant on parents for their needs, but not Phoenix. She also managed to distance herself from her classmates, and she was ironically nicknamed "Phoe the social bee." She never lets anyone call her Phoe now.

As Juliet grew, she took Phoenix's hand-me-down clothes and toys, and Phoenix was forced to accept new clothes and toys from Derek and Danielle, who were trying very hard to make the two little ones friends with each other. Eventually, Phoenix made it to Middle School, and a chance was given to her to meet her mother; she couldn't refuse. Hanging tight to Danielle's soft, slippery hand, Phoenix met her mother, who now had a whole new family of her own. She offered Nix the chance to stay and have her own room with her half-brother, step-dad, and baby step-sister down the hall. Nix didn't take it. Something told her she'd be much happier if she were to stay were she was. And so came a long battle of who should take custody of the sixth grade mistake.

Eventually, Danielle and Derek won the fight, and Phoenix could sleep soundly knowing she wasn't living with a mother who hadn't wanted her. She became more social in Junior High, and her mind switched gears. She went from shy and shell-kept to social and smiling. Danielle and Derek were pleased. Nix also took Juliet under her wing and explained all the girl stuff that Danielle had told her. Picture-perfect, right? Wrong. During her eighth grade year, Phoenix was sexually molested by a forty-year-old man. She went back to being really quiet after that, and she never told Danielle, Derek, or even Juliet.

After graduating, Phoenix had a summer to try and get over what happened. She went on online sites and looked up how to cope with what had happened to her. She tried Yahoo! Answers, Ask.com, Google, and even Wikipedia. Nothing made her feel one-hundred percent better, but she started hanging out with her friends more and more often. During her Sophomore year, a news blurp came up about a molester who'd been lurking in the area for years. It was the person who had hurt Nix. They asked for witnesses to his case, and Phoenix went, tears streaming her face. She explained how after their encounter, she'd never felt like she was good enough, pretty enough, or smart enough and had hurt herself many times. There were other teens there who confirmed her story with their own. The man was sent to jail for life.

Before Senior year, Phoenix decided she'd try going to a place called Harrow Prep. Danielle and Derek didn't fight it. Phoenix got in.
