I'm personally not seeing why 00Q can't already be Twin Drive. Given how small they are and Tieria releasing all available info, maybe now they can stash two drives in one cone. After all, the original 00 was more about creating a clear aesthetic that broke from the established visual of a single drive and to allow the final fight (Ribbons needing to pinch his one back)..

Considering how the drive from season one significantly scaled down to the season two (at least in the 00) version I see no reason to not believe that both drives fit comfortably in the Qan's torso.

For all I care, the 'T' could just as easily mean 'Twin' or 'Trans Am' or whatever. I doubt CB would go with the terminologies as their world counterparts anyways.

Personally, I'm not feeling this design. I was kind of underwhelmed seeing the Qan[T], preferring the 00 Gundam's design moreso, and kinda wished they repaired and upgraded the 00 instead. Still, it has grown on me over time, and I at least like the fact that, unlike the 00, it (so far) doesn't have a support unit like the O Raiser along. I would think that by now, especially seeing the Reborns Gundam, that they'd have figured out how to perfect the TDS enough to use in a mobile suit without the need for a bulky pack to handle the excess particles.

It occurs to me that we're all assuming that its still using one traditional drive with one false, but what if its a Reborns style twin tau system? I mean CB already knows it works so why not give the other three traditional drives and let Setsuna double up on the fakes?

Have there been any tau equipped MS thus far with green condensers?

It'd really suprise me if CB started using Tau drives. Fact is, they've been built up as a complete perversion of everything CB stands for. Plus love it or hate it, they're also used to justify the Meisters as being 'special'.

The fact that the GN Archer and the O Gundam used a GN Condensor and a particle tank respectively should tell you what CB thinks of Tau Drives. The first chapter of 00V Senki also shows that they'd rather stick with a condensor than 'cheat' with a Tau Drive. It's not really hard for CB to get their hands on a Tau Drive, yet they refuse to do so. Thus the possibility of the Qan[T] using a Tau Drive is slim to none.

Well it makes sense in a way since Setsuna never relied on his ranged weapons all that much, GN blades and the occasional squirt from his vulcan or rifle were about it. So considering the shear amount of particles Ribbons was throwing around compared to how little Setsuna would be using, well I consider it a rather practical trade off.
