This may also be from the chapter. At the very least, I'm not sure where else it would be from.

*Sigh* I had hoped I had just misread the blog, but somehow CB really does seem to be using those three Gundams.

I smell a flimsy attempt to sell the action figures.

I'm going with theory number 2 interpretation of "Cheurdim and Arios's frames" then. I remember talking about it once but it was just a side theory to the prior to the assumed primary meaning of "re-used frames". But after this, I'm going to have to make it the primary theory then.

I may have turned into an Innovator from watching the movie because even before I clicked on the image I sort of had a feeling what Homeless was talking about when she said in her post. And I was bloody right.

To hell with Ascalon but get me Cherudim SAGA sidestory people. I would not mind these attempts so much if they did not get in the way of the bloody story so much or if "THREE LETTER-NAME THAT SHALL NOT BE SPOKEN" WAS NOT IN IT.

Leonard & Delphine join CB too now? One thing that always irk me about the sidestories is why their "Team B" don't ever cooperate with "Team A" despite having all sorts of supposedly competent people. Of course I know the RL reason for that, but in-universe it's just baffling.

That's actually the other thing that bugs me. Why are they with CB? Again, this isn't like Astray where it makes sense that a group like Serpent Tail would cooperate with ReHome or that the odd character would join the Junk Guild. As far as the world is considered, CB are a terrorist group. Saji only joined because it was that or face execution by a corrupt government and Marie joined to stay close to Allelujah. Why are characters who last we saw were opposed to CB suddenly with them? The sidestories make becoming a Meister ridiculously easy.

I read somewhere that in 00P Leonard and Delphine seek CB after their last encounter with Grave Violento.

scroll to October 2009 Issue

EDIT: For some strange reason there are two October 2009 entries; I am referring to the second one.

You win this round, sidestories. But my crusade against you shall not end here!

So I'm guessing with this, they're gonna be announcing either HG or RD GRM Gundam soon. laugh.gif

One thing I'm wondering is when exactly does the 00I 2314 takes place in, whether is during the movie or even before it?

Because if its during the movie (or crosses the movie at some point) then the Cheurdim and Arios are not going to have any Drives powering it assuming Seraphim Drive was destroyed. They can go L Condenser of course but those have very limited time limits.

Unless....................the mysteriously absent Seraphim Drive is somehow involved for at least one of them.

Having a separate team using one Drive would may explain it (a throwback to the days of 2307), especially if they are still active during the same period as the movie (regardless of whether 00I 2314 starts within this period or not)

For what its worth, JPN Wiki currently claims that they're running off Condensers.

One of them would have to since there are two (is the GRM part of the CB team btw?), even if one does turns out to have the Drive so somebody has got to.

The blog mentions that instead of Astraea Type F and the 2nd-gens, (Fereshte) is using Cherudim SAGA, GRM, and Arios Ascalon. Not clear if Fereshte is literally back, or if the blogger is just informally referring to the manga characters as "Fereshte", despite their rejoining CB, like we tend to do.

It would seem kind of odd to bring the group back now fully, especially since CB themselves are playing the waiting game again at this point.

At the same time, giving that little team an upgrade if they are doing such does make sense and is better than the silliness of them still having success with second gen ones.
But yeah, this is as blatant as the 'Special' 00P chapters in terms of why said mecha are appearing.

Personally, I feel that it would've been better if those machines were running off CB-produced Taus instead of Condensers, but given that it's only the Raphael that used them due to availability and material issues concerning real drives, I guess we're to expect some sort of harrowing moments regarding limited particle availability.

And I'm fine with whatever happens just as long as he who-shall-not-be-mentioned doesn't show up in this and say that he also predicted non-humanoid Aliens.
