Mentioned over here, but I'll comment on it here since we don't really need another topic for this mobile suit. Forgot the model was due out, but it finally confirms the name and model number of the Astraea modification from the later chapters of 00F, as Ere stated.

I think we jiiped the Astraea Type F2 a little in our discussion, and I still have a very vague understanding of it's backstory. With the exception of that custom V Fin, all it really does is reuse some Exia Parts in place of some Astraea parts. What was the point of it? How did they develop it in Fereshete?

I have this recurring notion that after episode 25 Setsuna went to these supposed hidey holes to grab spare parts for Exia and found them empty thanks to Fon. Hence, Exia Repair.

Do you think Setsuna actually knew about those spots? After being cut off from Celestial Being and since I never saw him helping with repairs or conversing too terribly much with Ian, I wonder if he was even informed enough on where to get them.

Beyond arguing that knowledge of CB bases and resource caches should be general knowledge for the crew; Setsuna explicitly offers to assist with maintenance way back in episode 9, and Exia Repair demonstrates he has some sort of capability with it since he restored the damaged torso and cockpit.
Of course, 00V Senki has since mentioned that Fereshte and the UN both raided most parts stockpiles CB had out there. |
