I hope that Hobby Japan got someone to do a model version of this because, the way Okawara handles perspective & proportions, well...

I saw this earlier tonight and was gonna post...but i thought i would let you do the honours as usual/

But yea, I knew this one was coming in some form. or other. Only the proportions are butt ugly because its an okawara.

Not digging this in design or concept. I like the 0 Gundam. It was a fun barely seen homage in season one and the brief season 2 A.C.D. Type was handled well. However, I don't want it opening the door for sticking a ton of lame UC rehashes into 00 continuity. 0 Gundam worked because, as I said in my kit review, it's design sums up your generic origin Gundam. This design just looks like it belongs in one of the UC sidestories.

Purportedly, the new cannon mounted over its shoulder is a GN Bazooka, and the armor attachments are GN Composite Armor like that shown on Plutone.

is it me or ) Gundam is given a helmet with face armor? and look like an ejectable armor like Alex Gundam.

Actually, given Okawara's modernized design style, it looks more like something from the CE universe.

The idea is a pretty chuckleworthy homage to the FA-78-1, though I hope it just stays as a 00V exclusive, because the actual execution design and art style are not my cup of tea.


In terms of the timeline, I wonder if this is a late season 2 style GNHW-like addition for the by then 0 Gundam ACD-type, or something that was worked on earlier, when the 0 Gundam was still in use by CB as a proper test unit.
As such, I wonder if it's inspired by, or served as the inspiration for the Virtue Physical upgrade for Nadleeh, for example.

The trademark blue and red of the ACD-type trickling through (which I only noticed just now) seems to confirm this was conjured up post ACD-type conversion.

And apparently, it was Sheryln who made the upgrades. So if anything, this is O Gundam's "Type F" version.

By S2 the remaining Fereshte characters are part of CB proper again, so I'm not quite sure I'd label it as such. Sherilyn was involved in Arios Ascalon and Arios GNHW/M's development as well, and I don't think they'd be considered Arios Type-F by any stretch.

At any rate, given how quickly Lasse emptied the particle tank by standing still and firing the piddly beam gun, I can't imagine this variant does much for 0's combat endurance.

That perhaps exactly why it mirrors Virtue Particle Physical; Another Gundam which was designed because it originally lacked 'GN Stamina'.

I'm thinking the backpack gun isn't a beamgun but a railcannon/bazooka, for example.
