| QUOTE (HomelessGal @ Oct 25 2009, 01:41 AM) | I think that comment from 2ch is inaccurate, or at least misleading. Since we saw the remark, we've had Beside in #24 refer to 1 Gundam as having been developed for the use of Innovado. Further, the 1 Gundam's profile:
| QUOTE (mike_s_6) | | A Gundam developed on the assumption that it is to be used by an Innovade. It is developed as a general-purpose machine, and for special missions, with modified armaments, is assisted by various support machines. Reborns Gundam was produced using this machine’s data. |

Hm..... "modified armaments". I wonder if it refer to mission backpacks?

Perhaps 'just' a different set of mission specific (handheld) weapons, like rifles, swords, bazookas, Fangs/Bits etc.
I feel it mimmicks the Astraea to a certain degree, which is to be expected if it's developed concurrently with Exia as its "brother machine". Therefore having different weapon options similar to the Astraea, sounds like a reasonable assumption at this point.
Btw, the drive cone looks almost identical to Exia's. The cone is a bit different, but the clamps and, for a lack of a better word, toilet seat-shaped backside are dead on similar.
Given that the GN condensers on the Exia/Dynames/etc. are green, but those of the GN Cannon and 1 Gundam are purple, I wonder if the latter have a higher storage/discharge capacity. That might also explain why the GN Cannon and I Gundam have so few (and also not intergrated into their forearms due to the size), even though they are from the same generation as the season 1 Gundams.
At least that might be one possible explanation for the otherwise not-so convincingly retroactive addition of both proto-Reborns machines.

They may be more advanced than the Third Generation Gundams to a degree, which may explain why 1 Gundam was not changed much when it got turned into Reborns.Althought its just a maybe. The Innovators could possibly be ahead of CB in terms of technology at this point in time, with Cb catching up on even ground later.
Or maybe it pulled an Enact, and had a total upgrade and remodeling on the inside, but look similar from the outside.Personally I'm on the latter for the moment, the base design may have been advanced enough so that when the technology is further upgraded to around the 4th Gen level in Reborns [Which is suppose to be a high tech MS,according to the description, even making up for the difference in Solar Furnace type with 00,according to the Reborns Web Profile],that they could afford to remodel most of the systems while leaving alot of things intact or similar.
We know that they are around 2 MS which had used the 1 Gundam data for their creation,Alvaron and Reborns.
