I think there might be two of these but I'm following the one in Kerokero Ace. It's pretty faithful but there are 2 changes I've noticed:

1. The artist likes to use comedy expressions. When Setsuna goes loner and Lockon is told to look after him, he's drawn with an exagerated stressed out face. Perhaps more worth discussing is Ali. The artist has been doing ok but Ali is being drawn to look 2D villainous. His debut makes this worse- whilst on the phone, he has a comedy fanged faced and is screeching. This causes the 2 guys he was with to hug togethor in fear.

2. No Sergei or Soma. Sergei got a brief cameo early on but after that basically nothing from the HRL. Best guess is they're going to streamline the Sergei/Soma/Alleujah plot.

Wait. What!? Which sidestory? This is the version we'll be getting in the US!? I just hope to the Great One that this isn't true! It's perfect the way it is! (At least for the time being.)

It's a manga adaptation of the main show running in Kerokero Ace magazine. It isn't a sidestory but none of the other sub-forums seemed right to post this.

Thats a shame. Those three really made quite the characters for the story... one of my favorite plot deviations so far.

It feels like the manga is heavily focusing on Setsuna, which is kind of odd. There's been alot of Graham but we know he becomes Lockon's rival instead. I do hope the HRL characters appear. I was annoyed briefly that the show seemed to give so much attention to Al and Soma but that now seems needed due to the Trinity. I'm betting we get a chapter which includes Sergei being charged with Soma, the failed test and Kyrios destroying the colony lab in one hit.

More changes. I believe the meeting between Ali and Setsuna was changed slightly to work in an MSG homage. In the manga, Setsuna actually partly slashes Ali's Enact open and sees him. The scene then plays out as in the anime.

There's also a new scene for Marina. She's out in Azadistan in her nifty diplomat outfit when a young boy falls over. She tries to help him up but her advisor stops her. The crowd also don't seem to like her, so I assume this is a quick way for the manga to get across Marina's problem.

A few scans demonstrating the new scenes this month. Given recent events, I also scanned the 4 pages of following SD comics which were focussing on Lockon and Dynames.
Still no sign of Soma and Sergei. Not sure what the manga is playing at.

Interesting... I wonder why they changed the getting out of the cockpit thing? The animated series seemed to make a big deal of that, seems like something you wouldn't want to change. Plus... seing the Custom Enact getting sliced instead of just flying away seems to be a little more demeaning of Ali's abilities. Homage to Ramba Ral or not, I don't think its right to pay such a homage with a despicable character like Ali.

I agree. Adding the cockpit slash into the scene just makes Ali look weaker. In the original scene, Setsuna realises who it is when he can't lay a hit on Ali. In this take he not only does it but it also makes it redundant that he then asks Ali to stop and step out of his Enact. It also seems less likely Ali would agree. He's got a reason to be cocky in the TV version.

Setsuna meeting Marina is significantly changed. There's a bomb attempt on her life, followed by a gunman. Before he can shoot, Setsuna delivers a powerful flying kick and prepares to stab him. Marina stops him and the scene goes much like in the show. Police show up, Setsuna's like "Bye bye, bitch!" and is off over a wall.

It's like they're trying to make him Heero Yuy.

Changes continue, this time with the adventure in Azadistan. No sooner has Setsuna ventured out, a large angry mob tries to stone him. He's saved when Billy and Graham show up in a jeep and give him a ride. Whilst cruising, they basically have the 'That's a scary face' discussion in the car.

I'm suprised how far they went. It isn't a tiny mob, we're talking what looks like a good chunk of the community out to kill Setsuna. In some ways maybe that's a better way to handle it.

This month's change- the Thrones. They're now introduced RIGHT after the Azadistan arc, showing up destroying the MSWAD facility. Guess this take on the story isn't going to even try to make them ambigious.

Why so many changes in the Tv Adaptation?  Whats the point?

I'm as lost as you are. The Thrones one especially makes me scratch my head since now surely they have no way to work in the big ambush. The whole point there was that it was a trap for the 4 Gundams. If the world alreay knows there are now 7, how can that work? Add in that "Hi, we just randomly showed up with Gundams and started killing people" is far from the "Hi, we just saved your butts" introduction. I get the feeling this manga is gonna end with alot of plot holes.

The 00 manga has gone into overdrive. After destroying MSWAD, Trinity talk to the CB crew via video link and prove to be pricks. Following this they then have many of their TV rampages, including Neena attacking the Halevy wedding. The problem here is that in the manga Saji and Louise have had no focus and the same scene has Neena using 'cute' SD facial expressions.
Tiera is the first one to launch again them in this take, suprised to see Setsuna right behind him.
It's the battle against the Thrones which marks the debut of Nadleeh to judge them (huh, Nadleeh actually being used as per the plan...the manga must be Tiera approved). The chapter ends with the shock announcement of the UN team up and the reveal of the GN-X. Gag comics afterwards focus on Patrick and the Enact.

Lot of shake ups in terms of the 00 manga this month. If you watched the show and thought the Trinity were expendable...well, the manga is far more blunt about it. The GN-Xs and Thrones clash, with the latter retreating. They're then traced to their hideout and a second battle occurs. In this version, Ali is actually one of the GN-X pilots. He destroys Johann, then Micheal. From there it rushes to the Four's space battle with the GN-Xs, with the 'cockpit pierced, is Lockon dead?' cliffhanger...although with the pace of this manga, he probably is.

Does he still take Zwei, or are both Thrones destroyed?

At any rate, that's a lot of fun.
