Trials HD, xbl arcade

This game is so simple you may wonder why I'm still playing it.... it's similar to some of the flash games you see on the interthingy, or excitebike(!) but with very polished graphics - you're basically in control of a trial bike (start with an 80cc and work your way up as you unlock items..)that is on a rail - no left or right turns here, you control gas and brake, and the position of your rider as you climb hills and bunny-hop over gaps whilst avoiding explosives and other hazards.

There is a lot of replay value from this game, especially if you have competitive friends that are trying to beat your times There's also a skills section that allows you to do silly mini games as you unlock them - launch yourself off a ramp for the long-jump, try to break all your bones, pull a nuclear (it's pronounced nuc-u-lar!) bomb as far as you can without blowing it up etc.

The learning curve is steep, but not impossible (well it gets impossible later in the game!) and if you get really stuck you can watch replays of the best 10 times in the world to get advice. There are a few levels where I've had to reset 300 times (returning you to a checkpoint) but for some reason there is that desire to get through it

All in all a very satsisfying game that's in the premium price bracket (1200 ) - give the demo a real good try and let me know what you think....

If anyone's still playing this game (yes, I am!) I have created a level to try out.... it's a pretty powerful editor that I believe the creators themselves used to make land and sea.... or at least the levels in the game! Still a fun little game this brmmmm brmmmmm
