Ok, well first off, this working Quidditch System is not of my own design. While on a short lived RP stint at the wonderful ERT, I stumbled upon this system while talking with their administration. Needless to say, I was out of my mind thinking about creating a board based solely around quidditch and this system. Because after all, how many other Harry sites do you know that have tried to make quidditch work for it's members? I can think of quite a few! With this kick ass system under our belts though, I think we can make this system work to it's fullest potential. So,
THANKS ERT!Moving on, let's begin with an explanation of general game-play. Each match will take place between 2
[two] teams and will consist of multiple
rounds. At the beginning of each round, each of the 7
[seven] players on each team will be given 4
[four] options. These
options may be played at any point in time within the round, with a few exceptions, and you
are allowed to use all four options within one round. If you do not use all options, they will be carried over to the next round.
You are only allowed to use one option
per post however, unless you receive the
Combination option, and you
may not post multiple times in a row. You are however allowed to post without using an option, but these posts are considered tactical maneuvers and therefore must consist of
at least 200
[two-hundred] words.
For example: The
Chaser on the
blue team is speeding towards the goal posts where the
Keeper for the
green team waits. If another member of the
blue team decides to post without an option, the
Chaser may then use their
Shoot Quaffle option for their next turn.
Note on Options: All options happen in the order in which they were posted. All penalties and/or benefits will be taken care of at the end of round summary. **Remember: this is essentially a slow motion version of actual game-play, so there may be several rounds per match!

Being in a lower number rank does not mean that you are a lower member of that team, it's just simply easier to assign a number to each one due to the
Rule of Initial Possession, but more on that later.
Ending a Round: A round will be guaranteed to end in one of three ways.
One: Players run out of usable options.
Two: The time limit placed by the referee ends.
Three: A character has committed a foul and has been caught.
Once one of these three things happen, a recap will be posted and a new thread will be posted up. All points will be tallied up and penalty shots accounted for, and then the new round begins.
There are some more unfortunate ways that a round can end, including players leaving the game, or a more plot based event may happen in the middle of a round. Effectively canceling the game in that instance.
