Music, Outstanding Music

I thought that the Music scored for this movie was outstanding...

Do you think you might ever go back and re dub the opening club scene so that the whole ting isn't in sub-titles?

Well, The Kylark Club scene is subtitled for many reasons.
1. We did not have the ability to film in a closed location, so ambiant bar sounds could be heard even when, in the scene, everything was supposed to be quiet. So the only solution was to turn the music up. I was debating to overdub the sound, but that brought me to reason 2.
2. In a real club, the music is loud and you have to shout back and forth to be heard.
3. This adds more mystery to not hear Clay's voice clearly until halfway through the first episode.
4. It makes Clay so much cooler to have heard a rifle cock while the very loud music is playing.
So, some agree...some disagree, but I think it would be best just to leave the first episode as it is. Good question though. I'm glad I could address this publicly.

I agree with the current effect that the beginning scene has. Craig here put my same feelings into words beautifully. Anyway, the music, yes the soundtrack does kick much butt. A great score of music if I ever heard one.
