Personality: Noble, determined, with unfailing focus. Although a servant of God, he judges not. Even tempered, does not anger or hate.
History: Icarus was cast from heaven by the hand of God to serve a chosen purpose: to cleanse Dreizhenstadt of the demons inhabiting it, and therefore begin to cleanse the earth of the Devil's work--demons have leaked into this plane, breaking the heavenly balance. Icarus is the work of balance in the other direction, expelling the dark forces. While he is in the city for demons alone, the other dark forces of the city are not without careful watch. He has no timeline to complete his purpose--save for the fact that doing so will see him once more in heaven. Icarus, however, is using his chosen time on earth wisely: to fulfill God's purpose as well as reuinite himself with the children of Adam.
Unique Powers: Like Michael smiting Lucifer, Icarus has a powerful sword used to smite demons with a blow. The weapon works like a hand of God--an infallible weapon. Icarus himself cannot send demons directly without this weapon, and unless it is wielded by his hand it is powerless. He may attempt to smite them otherwise (holy water, signs of faith, words of power,) but these are not as infallible. His wings, although always present, are not seen by those unless they have been touched by God and serve his will. He has the power to will others to see him for what he is, but will be viewed as human in all other eyes. Being divine he has the power to heal and to work small feats of goodliness--(healing, peace, etc) but never use his works for evil. His physical body can die, but he would become incarnated in another being in due time.
