Roshan tied her long dark cloke around her shoulders just as the heavens opened up, and the rain pored down. She lifted the corse material of the purple hood to shield her eyes from the stinging drops as she walked on towards the lights of the city. She could see the lights now. Fuzzy electric street lights, that cast their flickery light on the town. To her the forest looked more welcoming, but the smells wafting out of the small town were intoxicating. She shook the topaz vile hanging from her neck. Empty. She would need to feed soon, and this time one of the small forest creatures would not satisfy her. She stroked the vile for a minute, then let it hang. The trees moved in the down pour, and the winds whispered a lullaby. She came to a fallen tree long covered by moss and nimbly climbed over. Strange things were said about this little town, many of her brothers and sisters of the night dwelled within it's boundaries. She was looking forward to a good feast. A thousand miles, or so, of forest lay behind her. She could not wait to truly hunt again.
