1. Dragons are among the most powerful creatures on this earth. However, they tend to keep a low profile and hide their powers. Poachers are abundant everywhere, and a dragon pelt fetches a princely sum. A sum worth risking one’s life over.
2. Dragons tend to be mostly solitary creatures, only getting together with others of their kind during the mating season. However, there seems to be three main strongholds of dragons that have defied nature’s intent. The heaven clan of North America, the Earth Clan of Asia and the Hell clan of Europe. Generally, dragons that choose a mostly solitary life look down on them.
3. Not all dragons can transform into humans, or even transform! Special rituals are preformed in order for a dragon to transform. So far, only the hell clan has gone so far as to take a human form.
4. While a lot of dragons are fierce creatures hell bent on destroying anybody who comes near them, there are a benevolent few. Generally, the malicious dragons tend to be shadow, fire, wind and rock dragons. While the kinder dragons tend to be light, water, earth and sound dragons.
5. When in an alternate form, dragons cannot contain themselves completely. Whether it is extended nails or claws, an abnormal fur color or a larger size, there is always something different. Also, a dragon’s eye color will NEVER change no matter WHAT form it takes.
