LIVING IN A DREAM WORLD
welcome to newark, derbyshire. a small beautiful
locale that has been named village of the year
for more than two decades. away from the hustle
and corruption of the city, it's the ideal locale
for any and all who desire a simplistic, wholesome
life free from worry.
that's the image the real estate company would like
to sell you. the one of the picturesque town that's
practically a collage of images from country living
magazines. the town that's a perfect place to raise
a family, where the neighbors are caring and there
hasn't been a recorded crime in the district for
well over a decade.
you know that saying how some things are just too
good to be true? this is one of those situations.
there's a reason why newark has an idyllic air
of perfection about it: for more than twenty
years, the town has been controlled by a small
group of individuals: the established members of
the town who form the neighborhood alliance. on
the surface it's merely a way to keep the town
safe, but to go against the villiage's ideals
has never bode well for those whove tried it?
ever wonder why the crime rate in newark is
so low? to put it simply, it's the same reason
the accident rate is so high. well, put two and
two together and it's not too difficult to arrive
at the logical conclusion. except if you're a
resident of newark. then it's simply a part of
everyday life. with the nwa making sure the status
quo is maintained and the police service and
villagers living by the saying 'accidents happen
every day', life is far from idyllic for the
citizens of newark, once you reach dig underneath
the perfectly painted image of the town.
how you live your life in newark is up to you
yet be advised, mess with forces you don't
understand, and you might find your own demise
closer than you imagined. don't worry though,
it's all for the greater good.

just opened up to the public. we're alway
open to both canon and original characters,
although we ask that characters are kept above
the age of 18 for plot reasons. yes, on the
board characters will die, and we are looking
for creative roleplayers who are willing to go
outside the box and help bring newark to life.
since we can be a bit heavy on the violence,
the board has an r-rating.
