She jumped, but was relieved to just find her reflection staring back at her as she lay on the floor of the guest room that she was currently occupying. She had just come from the beach where her tan had been rudely interupted by an angry Krena. She shivered now at the sight of the skeleton still evident in her mind and the gruesome glare the man had had on his face as his gaze beamed down on her.
She got to her feet and wrapped her hands around herself before moving over to her dresser and pulling on a pair of jeans and a light blue collered shirt. She pulled her hair back and out of her shirt and face and looked at herself in the full length mirror. She looked fine, a little spooked, but fine.
She then wondered whether or not she'd be able to get her things back which she'd left at the beach. She wondered if the guy would take her things.. maybe not. She sighed, not really wanting to leave the room but also not looking forward to staying in one place and doing absolutely nothing. She glanced out the window, the children seemed to be enjoying themselves outside. But she really didn't want to associate with that many people. Besides, she wasn't really here for anything other than safety.. and it seemed, by her earlier interference with Krena, that it was still something she needed.
Sighing again she muttered, pulling a half-finished book from a table nearby, "Where's company when you need it? Or at least someone to talk to.."
