What do you look like?
Layered, long dark brown hair goes down to her mid back and it is usually pulled back into a braid. She has a sharp oval face which holds firm full lips, perfect nose, shaped eyebrows and oval blue-grey eyes. She has a medium build which is fully toned from constant exercise. No fat can be seen on her 5'9" body.
During the day she is your average looking adult. Wearing a little make up, instyle clothing, and earings, she looks like your average human. At night on the other hand, black leather pants, ripped tight black and blue corsette, metal accessories, metal mask that frames her eyes, and high healed boots, she is one tough looking gal.
What kind of personality do you have?
She is quite outgoing and bold. She is quick to tick off (most likely from her irish mother) and judges very quickly when it comes to criminals. Depending on her mood she can either put people on edge or set a buzzing to their emotions. She knows how to get her way and she can be pretty sly. She can be pretty flirty and crazy at times. And when on a "power buzz" she acts like she's on a super sugar rush and can be pretty unpredictable. She also loves to get even with society and loves revenge, which is bad for her enemies, yet good for her friends for she usually takes care of people who hurt them. This been said, she is an awesome friend. She'll protect them no matter what and stick by them through tough times.
Mia, around her friends, can be a bit of a goof ball and likes to have fun. She's usually the one to break the ice in awkward situations like silence. She can usually get anyone to have a good time, but if they anger her, she can make everyone have a horrible time. Yes, she can sometimes be a bit bipolar.
At night she is like an animal on a hunt. She won't give up until she finds what she's looking for and then when she finds it, nothing can stop her.
Character History
Mia was born in Dublin, Ireland and then moved with her parents to the states when she was twelve. She had a very pleasant life for her father was a wealthy business man and her mother was a great designer. Mia got the best education and was taught tae bo, judo, karate, dance, gymnastics, and how to play the piano and violin.
When she was fifteen, her powers developed. At first she would just shock people by touching them, like you would after getting enough static from rubbing your feet along the carpet. Then it evolved into bigger shocks, causing harm to people. A year later she could draw electircity from outlets and electronics and form energy balls in her hands. She soon learned to be able to shoot lightning bolts from her hands by drawing energy from herself or from other electrical sources.
When she was 17, she witnessed a violent store robbery where her best friend, a woman, two children, and a man were shot and killed. Over run by anger, she followed the robbers and killed them with her powers knowing how long the justice system would take.
After that, she began to hunt down criminals and using her abilities for herself. After she graduated high school, she got her own appartment in NYC and began her vigilante spree, along with a few "sprees" of her own.
If you have them, what are your Meta human or mutant abilities?
Mia can control electric currents. Meaning she can take energy from herself and shoot lightning bolts or balls. Most of the time, however, she will draw on energy from electrical sources and do this, that way she doesn't drain her energy. She can store electric currents in her body, but only so much. Too much can damage her system or cause her to be very very hyper and irratic. If metal is around, she can use a small amount of her electricity and fly, but it has to be a pure enough substance. This said, she can charge up metal objects and use them as weapons also.
The amount of energy in and around her also changes her moods, health, and mental stability. If there is alot of energy around her, she'll turn happy, energetic, and have a stable mind. But if she has alot of built up electricity say good bye sane hello ADD: she won't be able to keep her mind on one thing, a lack of ability to sleep and rest, she could start to halucinate and talk to herself, and burst out laughing at nothing. A lack of energy around her causes her to be angry or deeply depressed, tired, and extreemly bipolar. If there is a lack of electricity in her body she'll be extreemly slugish, moody, hungry, perhaps a fainting spell or two, and a destablized mental state. Another side effect of too much electricity: an out burst of electric currents that could burn out an entire city and destroy anything in a 60ft radius which then causes her to have a complete lack of elecrticity leading to a unconcious state for at least three days.
Do you carry any conventional weapons or have any unusual non-mutation related skills?
At night she carries a 6 ft metal chain which she uses as a weapon. She also carries several knifes and throwing stars.
Role-Play Sample:
Mia sat crouched behind a garbage pile waiting for the guy she had been tracking for the past hour to come out of the strip club. He was a well known criminal who raped and killed women, a perfect scumbag just waiting to be killed. Too bad she couldn't just charge into the building and kill him, but then that would just bring along too much trouble from the other people in there.
She touched her metal mask to make sure it was sitting right and then rebraided her hair. She couldn't believe how long a man could stay in such a disgusting building, it disturbed her. But atleast he was there instead of raping another mother. She sighed and pulled out one of her knifes and charged it up and began to spin it in the air infront of her. She put it up when she saw the door open. An evel smile spread acrossed her face when she recognized the man as her target.
She followed him for several blocks, blending in with the shadows of the night in her black clothes. She slowly began to advance on him when he stepped into an alley. Seeing this as her oppertunity, she took out one of her throwing stars and snaped her wrist. She followed it, silently running until it dug itself into the man's back. She jumped onto him when he yelped in pain. She jumped off of him and rolled him over. His eyes were wide with shock and he began to plead when she pulled on energy from a nearby transformer and gathered the energy in her left hand.
"There is no mercy for a scumbag like you," she said morosly, and electrocuted him until there was nothing left but ash and her star. She closed her fist and soaked up the remaining energy while picking up the star. Content, she left the pile and strode off to find another criminal that the cops had yet to catch.
