SITE RULES
001. No chatspeak. What's 'chatspeak', you might ask? Going like, 'omg im so hawttttt lolz plz b my friend n ill <3 u 4eva!!!!11111111' Seriously. That's all I have to say. The only, and I repeat only I will allow is lol (or a variation of it, such as rofl), but please keep it to a minimum. More chatspeak will be allowed in the cbox, but you will have to read the rules listed to the right of that to see what is acceptable.
002. Cussing is allowed in roleplay, as long as it is mild and not used excessively. I don't want any used on normal boards, but replacements can be used from time to time. And I won't bore you with the, 'Okay class, remember that cussing does not make you any cooler, et cetera, et cetera.'
003. Don't mess with your admin, also known as Miss Bramble. She'll be fierce with you if she has to, so watch out! Same goes to other staff members, and members all the same. Treat them nicely, friendly, not being all 'BFFel' over them or whatever, but just greet them like a good member should. Arguments on the internet is just stupid, especially about stupid stuff, so don't do it.
004. Don't double post, triple post, quadruple post, or anything else. One post is fine, there is a modify button (if you have a hard time finding it, please personal message me first [once is enough] and I'll find it for you, but don't freak out on the thread and keep posting junk) which should be used instead. If you really need to bump please wait at least two days, and try to modify the thread's title first in case someone sees it.
005. Tell me what happened to rule number five (be creative and make this up, it can be something like 'Rule number five got eaten by Tigerstar.' Really anything, I don't mind reading a paragraph about it either, just make it fun, and if you want, long or short. If you have trouble with this, please personal message me (again, only once).
006. No provocative, inappropriate, or graphic images/words/stuff allowed on this site. Censored words are turn on, and if they have to (which I truly hope they don't, especially if it is a member that posts) they'll change words. Sadly, they can't change nasty pictures to pictures of unicorns and rainbows, so if anyone posts anything wrong they will be instantly banned (this goes for mating as well).
007. There should be no 'online dating' on this site. That's what eHarmony and crap like that are for. Please don't spoil the site with your mushy crap (it's one thing if your dating in real life, but seriously, dating online?)
008. No global moderating, or power playing. It ruins the bliss of roleplaying, and everyone will get tired of roleplaying with you just like that! What is global modding and power playing you must ask? Well, power playing is when you have your character attack another character (and either wound or kill it) without permission from the roleplayer, or if you act as some one else's character without permission. For example, this is a good post, 'Silently a heavy tom with blazing green eyes stalked the gray she-cat, his wings gently pressed against his flanks. Suddenly he flew into the air, and aimed a dangerous swipe full of crystals of torture towards her tortie face, a grim expression crossing his battle scarred mask.' Here is a bad post, which no one should ever make, 'Silently a heavy tom with blazing green eyes stalked the gray she-cat, his wings gently pressed against his flanks. Suddenly he flew into the air, and swung full of crystals of torture towards her tortie face, a grim expression crossing his battle scarred mask. Instantly the she-cat fell to the ground, writhing in pain.' Global modding is when your cat is pretty much invincible. Most cases they are the fastest, leanest, smartest, bravest, strongest, biggest, toughest, sweetest (and the list goes on forever.) A cat must have weaknesses and flaws, because no one likes a Mary Sue. Usually people who do this are new to roleplaying, and since we have literate members, this shouldn't be much of a problem.
009. Do not send more then on personal message when trying to contact someone. It's considered spam, and is annoying. Same with getting accepted, please be patient. Wait at least a week, and make sure that the staff isn't gone before posting a complaint. Just try to keep in mind that people have lives.
010. Your are allowed an unlimited amount of characters, but don't get to carried away. If you know you can only roleplay one, then just do that, so you have more time to make thorough posts with that character instead of miniature posts when you have fifteen. Activity checks are a good way to delete characters, but just remember the time you spent creating their biography and the waste of ridding them.
011. Read the other information for this site, and have a great time roleplaying! :] (Sorry for the extremely long rules, I'll try to make all other posts a tad bit shorter.)

ROLEPLAYING / CHARACTER RULES & GUIDELINES
001. When an apprentice is ready to become a warrior, you must reply to the updating thread (in Sharing Tongues). The apprentice must have trained in six threads with their mentor, gone to at least one gathering, have one assessment by the Clan deputy, been on one border patrol and one hunting patrol, and have learned how to: hunt, fight, know their boundaries and the territory, track and scent markers.
002. When roleplaying you must have at least five sentences that are correctly written. Which means punctuation, grammar, and spelling is right, so the sentences aren't fragments (or run-ons, though if anything I'd prefer those... >_<).
003. You don't have to, but I'd prefer if you used a table or scroll-box when roleplaying (for the benefit of making the site look nifty x3). You can get one of these by requesting one or replying to someones thread.
004. Your character can not be in more then one place at once. If the person you are roleplaying with goes inactive, then modify your post and have your cat leave, putting an ooc message of why you choose that action.
005. Use some sort of ooc (out of character) when not posting as your character. This can be brackets, parentheses, or just saying something like OOC: texthere. It doesn't matter as long as you make it clear. ^-^
006. Try to refer from powerplaying, unless the other persons character says it is alright.
007. Try to post threads in their correct boards, and if you are not sure where to post, please personal message an online member, a staff member, or post in the help section in 'FAQ'. That way everything stays organized, and staff don't have to go around moving threads and such.
