Specifically because you have played as Edgeworth and seen how clever he is... utterly stomping him in 1-2 and 1-3 has so much more impact.

What order do you mean? Do you mean starting from 4-4 and then going on to T&T?

Yeah I do this alot too. When I'm done playing the series in game order, I play them in chronological order. Though I make sure to save at a certain place in Investigations case 4, and then after I'm done with case 3, I continue on that save spot. f_-_yanni.gif

Timeline Order... That would be:

*)AAI-4
*)3-4
*)3-1
*)1-1
*)1-2
*)1-3
*)1-4
*)1-5
*)2-2
*)2-1
*)2-3
*)2-4
*)3-2
*)3-3
*)3-5
*)AAI-2
*)AAI-3
*)AAI-1
*)AAI-5
*)Flashback Part of 4-4
*)4-1
*)4-2
*)4-3
*)Remaining case 4-4

The only problem with this is that you'd need two copies of Apollo Justice in order to actually play it that way. f_-_gregory.gif

And having actually beat Apollo Justice as well, you forgot to mention that Neni.

I actually did all of this back in November f_-_edgeworth2.gif- I played through every case in order- and I borrowed a friend's Apollo Justice to do the flashback of 4-4 prior to 4-1.

In many ways, it was more enjoyable the second time around- now that I understood the big picture. For example, knowing the events of AAI-4 (and the story behind Edgeworth and his relationship to Von Karma) raises the stakes for 1-4 and makes it feel like an entirely different case.

You could do with with one copy of AJ...

Play 4-4 up to the start of the flashback trial.

Then start the whole "play with the timeline in order" thing, and when you get up to the flashback trial, play it. Save either at the beginning or end of the MASON system, depending on what you think it counts as tongue.gif

Then play 4-1, 4-2, 4-3 without saving. Then play 4-4 up to the flashback trial without saving. Then load up your save at the beginning/end of the MASON system and finish! biggrin.gif

(...I didn't say it was easy >_>)

I place 1-5 after 3-5. The story flows much better and that is the order in which the cases were actually created, after all.

Ah, because of Phoenix' narration, you mean?

True, but the fact remains that the case was created to be set between "Turnabout Goodbyes" and "Reuinion and Turnabout".

Then again, it's up to everyone by themselves in which order to play the cases. Do it the way it feels "right" for you. f_-_phoenix.gif

But Edgey disappearing after 1-5 doesn't really fit with Edgey being around for AAI...

...

*thinks of an amusing comic where Phoenix thinks Edgey is dead and then stumbles into him at Gatewater Land*

Meh...Never done it this way, even though I do have a change.
I'm at the part in AJ that the flashback takes a go,
but I don't find enough interest to do this...

Maybe someday, since I won't be playing AJ for a while.

Heh, I know what you mean. Some cases have really slow parts...
Just finish it f_-_redd.gif- you're already near the end- might as well do the final stretch.
