So yesterday, while I was preordering the first volumes of the new Sailor Moon and Sailor V re-translated manga, I stumbled across this:

There was actually a fan translation of this manga on the CR main site a while back. I guess what we have coming out is the official translation.

I wonder if book 1 has the first part of Turnabout Chimes (I believe that was the name) and book 2 has the second part... Hopefully book 1 will contain all of that case.

I read the 3 first volume of the fives (it is already out in french since last year). I must say it is good in general. But, I'm so sad that the breakdown are not amazing. Though, I love the mini bonus and the chibis!

How ridiculous is that we're getting a translated manga and not the latest, and probably biggest game in the series. I know translation costs for both are insanely different, but still, you can't deny it is an ironic situation beyond anything I had ever expected of the Ace Attorney franchise.

I want to know the conclusion of Gallows as well... I really liked the whole setup. And I think the first victim looks like an evil version of our Apollo... XD


Anyway, the publisher bringing us the Manga might have different priorities than Capcom. Don't forget that. Also, as you said, Manga translation costs less than game translation. It's more rentable, since, as far as they can assume, a huge part of the Fanbase is really hungry for more cases (no matter how) and, especially, more Nick, so they are gonna buy it.

I like to pretend that Kodansha USA is just trying out with the Ace Attorney manga to see if they can release the excellent Tantei Gakuen Q manga in the USA. Have it already, but more people should read that fantastic detective manga.

I like the Gyakuten Saiban manga, but the series has not as been as fun ever since it changed into Gyakuten Kenji (which I touched upon in my review of the most recent Kenji volume). Wondering whether Kodansha is also releasing that though.

At least with manga, the popularity of the game may increase of 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000001%. Sometime people just take manga out of curiosity and then discover things (that's how I decided to give a chance to Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass)

I nearly bought this on my last trip to Books-A-Million but in the end I decided it might be more worthwhile to buy it on Amazon (my K-ON volumes on Amazon are considerably cheaper than at retail).

I hope they translate the Hentai Mangas next.

I agree AnsweringNOW. Payne was friggin awesome in this Manga. He was smarter, actually confident for a reason, almost defeated Phoenix, and, when the killer confesses, looks like he cares for that person.
