I need some help...How do i go abouts Making a Lions Mane for a mascot Type costume.I have a few idea but i'd like to hear some other input

My mom used regular yarn in various colours for my brother's Cowardly Lion costume for a school play like 20 years ago, but i'm sure someone else will make a way better suggestion XD
