What is the Fibre Fantasy Artists and the ICG?

During Youmacon last weekend the girls and I were talking about this since we were also talking about CostumeCon and WorldCon, alas I realized we really know -nothing- about it.

Even after looking at the ICG website.

So information please that I may pass along to meh groupies??

http://www.costume.org/chapters/index.html From what i see there, the Fibre Fantasy Artists is the canadian chapiter of the ICG in wich Kaijugal is the president. For info about what is the ICG http://www.costume.org/aboutus.html This is all i can find right now.

ICG rules are applied mostly to costumecon and worldcon. Those two are international level competition and I think they are the only ones.

Worldcon is the first sci-fi convention and it is still running. Here is their website, where they mostly show where were the other worldcon http://www.worldcon.org/

In case you havent readed the thread about worldcon http://z11.invisionfree.com/costuming_dot_...p?showtopic=152 It will be held in montreal this year. If this doesnt convince you to come to Montreal, then nothing will >_>
