The James Norrington Petition! (spoiler warning)

For those of you who have seen POTC 3...

Anyone feel that James Norrington shouldn't have died? Anyone yearning for his return?

His death was unnecessary and even though it was gallant, he did not deserve to die like that. Without even a fight! James Norrington has always been a hero and a great character, and there was so much potential in continuing his character development.

Jack, Elizabeth and Will would ALL have been dead if it weren't for James Norrington!

Will would have died floating on the sea when he was child if Norrington didn't rescue him onto the ship; Jack would have been hanged as a pirate if Norrington hadn't allowed him to escape; and of course, Norrington died saving Elizabeth in the third movie.

If you also think someone as great like Norrington should come back, sign this petition! The possibility of a POTC 4 is still uncertain, but if there was a POTC 4, you would want Norrington to be in it much more than not, right?

Absolutely my dear, I have signed and am planning to get my gf to do so as well when she returns.Plus a couple of my friends are secret (?!) Norrie lovers, I'll email the link to them. Our poor, gallant, heroic Norrington I would adore to think he could come back again. If there was no way he could, it would definately put a downer on POTC 4 for me.

One of my friends told me Jack didn't want to do 'PotC: 4', and that is why he was killed off...

They didn't have to kill him, if he didn't want to come back! I mean... *tear*

Even if he didn't want to do a POTC4 they could make his end a bit better, at least giving him a little more time or giving him a chance to defend himself from Bootstrap's attack! Ten more minutes wouldn't have ruined the film. They could make this effort.

I hate the way he died. I don't like his death, but sometimes deaths happen and the death wasn't that pissed me off... it was how he died.
I mean, T&T just used Bootstrap as this tool, to cause drama. It was totally OOC for Bootstrap to do all those things. I'm sorry, but it's not right. Bootstrap was simply a tool for drama.. and I despise that.
And James + Sao Feng had so much potential, and then BOOOOM they just died. LIke that. Um.

When I sign on to my computer at home... On the blue welcome screen it say "Amandine Norrington", with a little icon of James. I change the icons all the time... I think it was 'CotBP' James, at his ceremony when I left.

That's very sweet! I have a beautiful Jack/James wallpaper that my friend Fabi made me and it makes me feel rather sad still when I see it and poor, lovely James.
