Join with your character’s first, middle and last name IN ALL CAPS.
BE UNIQUE WITH YOUR NAMES. We are located in France, therefore characters will have predominantly French names.

RESPECT
It’s not that hard, honestly. Just treat others as you’d like to be treated. So... no treating anyone like crap because I can’t really imagine anyone ever wanting to be treated like shit. Okay? Okay. Be nice to other members and to the admin too, you know. If everyone gets along, it shall be happy times at the site. We like happy times.
PLAIGARISM
NOT ALLOWED. Plaigarism will not be tolerated here. Ripping material from others will result to banning. If you’re using someone else’s plot page or graphics, CREDIT. You have to. As for writing and applications, if I find out that it’s not your work, automatic ban.
ACTIVITY
Alright, kids. My blood, sweat and tears went into the site so don’t go about abandoning it. Don’t take a character and just disappear off the face of the damn Earth. Let us know if you’re going to be away. We understand that everyone’s busy, that everyone has a life. I do, too. I feel really bad when I am pulled out of the RP world because real life is being a pain. I’ve gotten busy before and I still feel guilty for the sites I was on that I never got an rp in because of being busy. I feel even worse that I didn’t even let them know so these days, I’m working towards being more responsible with notices and such. In return, so should you. There is a forum for absences so that everyone’ll know that you haven’t died or anything. People like to know that you’re alright because we love people here. <3
RATING
We are rated R. Cussing will happen but for the love of all things holy, DO NOT USE F*CK AFTER EVERY WORD. Even the most hardcore people I know don’t drop the f-bomb after every word. We understand that almost everyone’s heard or seen it someplace but I like to think that this site has a bit more depth to it than F*CK after everything and sex everywhere. I’m guessing that sex might be rped here but please don’t give the graphic details. If you want, just do the things leading upto it and then the time after. We are not a porn site so if I see anything that’s crossing the line, you’ll be notified. PM the admin to get your topics marked if you think that it’s getting a bit more heavy or if you know that it’s going to get steamy, mark it with [M] beforehand. in-character APPLICATIONS
When posting your application, please post your topic title this way: LASTNAME, FIRSTNAME, MIDDLE
Leave the topic description blank. You will have three days to complete your application after registering. People who want to compete for a character can do so. Competing applicants will have the same allotted time to finish their applications to be judged after completion. Remember that your application is the backbone of your character. Detail is your friend. Explain why things are, get in the character’s heads and convince me that you know your character better than anyone else. Include key points in their childhood, growing up, adult life, etc. Basically, MAKE THEM AMAZING. THANKS.
CHARACTERS
No one is perfect. Everyone has flaws and it’s these flaws that make characters interesting. I don’t give a crap if Bob is so hot and oh-so-sweet. I care that he has insecurities, isn’t the sharpest tool in the damn shed and is a compulsive liar. You make someone perfect = no ticket in. Sorry.
GENDER RATIO
I’ll be damned if we get an overflow of girls. Keep it even or I’ll ban girls without much hesitation. It’s not fun with 105 girls and 10 guys. If your first character is a girl, your next must be a boy. If your first character is a boy, you... can make more boys if you wish. Lol. Of course, you’re still free to take up a female after that. =)
PLAYBYS
Mmkay. PBs on the site are models and less-used celebrities. Chances are, canons already have pbs assigned to them but just in case:

NO EMO/SCENE KIDS

NO ONE FROM THE OC, OTH, GOSSIP GIRL OR SHOWS LIKE THAT

Match your pb to the age of your character, alright?
POSTING/THREADS
Try and do it often. The minimum posting length here is about four paragraphs. Generally, though, just try and match the person you’re threading with. Use proper spelling and grammar. Writing your post on some kind of Word Processor really does help. Length, detail and... er, more words are your buddies. Make them interesting using your environment, character’s thoughts and memories. By the way, I know that having a plot where characters can randomly show up in other places is hard to rp with since the whole timeline gets whacked up. There’s and extra information post that’ll deal with this.
When threading, use the tag-system. Indicate to who that thread is for or put ‘open’ if it’s for anyone. Be respectful and don’t reply to a thread that isn’t meant for you.
PLOTTING
Drama is love but keep things relatively realistic. If your character’s having sex, you know what the realistic possibilities are. We can’t have everyone pregnant or dead so contact the admin for permission. Keep your plots unique and try to plot with everyone! What I find hard sometimes is that everyone’s already plotted with only certain people so being the new person becomes difficult. Make room for newer members, too! Don’t make them feel left out.
NUMBER OF CHARACTERS
You’re free to have as many as you can handle. Only take on what you think you’re going to be able to do. If you do take up more than one character, I expect you to be active with all of them. Have a diverse range of characters to rp, not a bunch of the same group or gender. Variety is key.
GOD-MODDING
NO. JUST NO. You can only control your character and not someone else’s. If you have a plot going on with someone, make sure that you ask for their permission before you make them do something. If your character does get to make kick Bob in the groin until he cries without him fighting back, work it out and ensure that it’s mutual between plot participants. If I see God-modding that isn’t meant to be in a plot, I will have to step in and remind you that it’s not allowed here. out of character GRAPHICS
I’d really like the board to look nice and this includes your character graphics! If you’re not graphically-inclined or for some reason you are not able to make your own, there are places to request for graphics like Red Carpet & Rebellion, which is linked on the sidebar. XD You can also put in a request here for members or staff to fill in. DON’T STRETCH THE BOARD. NOTHING TOO BIG. Roughly about 500x300. Go over a little if you don’t think it’ll stretch it but if I see ginormous graphic-stretch-disease on the forums, I shall have to give you a little nudge to resize. ^^

PATIENCE
People have real lives, muses die and everything so please don’t harass people for posts or to pariticipate IN A PLOT LIKE RIGHT EFFING NOW. Give people time to settle in with their characters before bombarding them with things. Actually, don’t bombard them at all. A nice PM or plot page post is enough, really.
I have a life, too! Mt teachers like handing out homework from time to time and the quantity of them varies. I'm sorry if I don't get to your application right away. I do like to read them as much as I can because I know how much effort goes into putting together an app.
ADVERTISING
There’s a place for this. A special guest-friendly forum has been set up just for advertising so there will be no advertising in the cbox, links in signatures, through PMs, etc. The advertising forum is the ONLY place that you may post your ad. If you do post here, we expect that we are able to do the same at your board. Only post once and in the correct subforum. There will be no linking to porn sites, illegal crap or... really disgusting stuff. You get it.

This is for us to interact! Be nice on it, alright? No bashing each other, fighting or OOC drama because I will tear my hair out if catfights start up. NO linking to other boards on it. Use it to meet the members OOC, chat up some stuff, talk about possible plots, etc.
SPAM
I love the meat kind. The other one, however, isn’t so much loved on the site. Don’t post irrelevant writing that makes absolutely no sense. No repeated one word-annoying things.
HAVE FUN
I hope I don’t sound like a hag. I’m really nice, I swear. It’s just that I need to be all authoritative to get the board on track. XD
What matters most is that CWTC is a fun place to be. I really want the place to get big and following these rules will help immesely. A lot of this is common sense and you people are pretty smart so I don’t think there’ll be any problems.
