The reading of these rules is a must if you are thinking, or already have joined the site. Any violation of them will be taken very seriously.
PG-13
This means that you are allowed to swear, and have some mild sexual references, but nothing really graphic. If you require to push the boundary further, then please consult and Admin and put a warning into your thread title.
Respecting Staff & Members
Respect and be respected. It is a common rule on most role playing sites, if you respect other members then they will have no quarrel with you. Keep disputes off the board, there are other members than just you and who ever you are arguing with. plus, any rudeness to a member of staff will not be tolerated; or to any of our members.
Advertising
There is an advertising forum, so post your ads in there. I have made it guest friendly, so make sure I can return our advert on your site without having to log in. Plus, no adverts in signatures or anything none-site related in signatures thanks.
Personal Information
For your safety and the safety of our members, we will not allow you to give out any personal information. This may include photographs of you, your family, or your house that can be related to by other people. Also, do not give out telephone numbers or specific information about your whereabouts. This is an extremely important rules for the Admins to enforce.
Registering
When you register, please register with a first and last name. You can register with a middle name, but it is not necessary for the role play. It has to be a real name as well, nothing like iheartwillemdafoe or anything like that.
Signatures
These must be kept at a reasonable size. There is a limit of 500x200 pixels, anything bigger will stretch the page, and really isn't that necessary as it just distracts role players. If you have a signature bigger you will be asked to resize it by the admins, and it will be removed with a small note of warning in it's place.
Posting
Please post in decent english. This includes grammar, punctuation marks and the like. I also don't want to be seeing any wRiTiNg LiKe tHiS because it's just annoying. Just plain annoying.
Godmodding & Murder
These don't happen. Okay? If you get shot in the head, you die. It's a sad fact of life. However, on this board there is no killing other peoples characters unless you want to be thrown in the local prison, so no killing other peoples characters. Oki dokie?
Profiles
Okay, first basic rules. No Mary Sue's or Gary Stu's. In other words, no perfect characters. These guys don't happen in real life, and to be honest, are probably really dull people, so add a bit of variety to your characters! I also don't want over dramatic applications. Ie, both of their parents died and now they are seeking vengence on the world because they're insecure and blame everyone else when it was actually them who left the candle on the window sill. Okay? Sob stories are a no-no. Plus, before you complain, we can reject your application with no questions asked.
Write in Third Person and in the Past
Easy enough, non?
Spamming
This is another annoyance of mine. This includes pointless posts in the OOC threads and one liners in the role play. Make sure your role plays are at least a few lines long, because it is extremely hard trying to answer to a small post. Plus, you don't get anything out of a lot of posts, so spamming will just get on our nerves. Don't do it. Thanks.
