He mentioned he'd been watching Harry a lot (Harry/Neville ftw!), and obviously in DH the school was left Harryless, in the worst state we've ever seen it in... so they needed a leader. And Neville had it in him to be one. OMG NEVILLE <3 But you know, Neville and Luna were both so wonderful in this book. I also thought that they kind of seemed more similar than ever... in a good way. Not, you know, in the "outcast kid" kind of way, but in that they were both bright and idealistic and caring and brave and 10 times however awesome they were in OotP. I did the exact same thing! I remember almost falling off the bed!

It was great. I absolutely love that part. I ADORE Neville in this book and I thought it was about time he showed his true colors!
