Guests are nice and all, but you don't get an avatar! Plus, you know, you can't see the forums properly... or reply to topics. Though as we all know, an avatar is possibly the most important thing you get out of registering anywhere. Well, apart from not having to type your name each time you post... and then there is that thing where you can PM people, and access all of the board's special features... hmm. Perhaps you should register?

I've probably written Neville even less than I've written Luna, but I generally find him easier to manage. However, does anyone have any tips for writing him? Baby Nargle Group: Newbies Posts: 1 Member No.: 37 Joined: 7-August 07	I find a lot of myself in Neville (self doubt, etc) so I just kinda dig in there. If that doesn't do work for anyone else maybe watch the movies again? Catch his mannerisms. Especially in OOTP movie, the way he walks and all. ..hope that helped.

Also, this is something that's been on my mind since DH: how are you all going to be writing Neville now? Because you know, he grew a lot in this book... and I find it hard to imagine him being excessively shy anymore. It's a bit weird, really, since we know so much more about how Neville behaves and reacts as the shy, unsure kid, but I think DH!Neville is really his true personality (and it's DH!Neville who JKR could see with Luna.) -------------------- ...when you're away // when I am missing you to death
