| Ground level The ground floor is in the majority used for the school's goings on, education and study, occupying large classrooms as well as a library and study hall. There is also a a huge kitchen, cafeteria and ballroom, as well as another socialising domain via the common room. Exit at the rear through the cafeteria leads to the pool, while the entrance hall has an elevator used to move between levels. |

| First floor The first floor occupies the sleeping quarters for both the students and X-Men. There are girl and boy dormitories which can cause problems if student don't like each other, faculty have their own rooms and a faculty lounge which is strictly staff only. Full bathrooms are constant throughout. This level also houses an observation tower which houses Xavier's, Scott's and Emma's offices. |

| Subterranean levels Consisting of three sub basements, these levels are private to those other than the X-Men and at times, the training students. The first sub level contains a range of laboratories, those being medical and engineering rooms, as well as a state of the art gym, along with a pool, showers, etc. The second sub level contains the dome shaped danger room, cerebra, war room, holding cells and the hangar bay. Third sub level solely contains the mysterious interior network mainframe. |

| Exterior Covering a considerable area, the Institute doesn't simply consist of a building. Outside it possesses glamorous gardens including a large maze, basketball courts, swimming pool and the obvious high tech advanced security employed throughout the vicinity. Stables, a boathouse and a garage also add to the exterior grounds with the serene tranquil waters of Breakstone Lake. |
