I think the point Flea is trying to make with this post is that we cannot be boxed into a stereotype as people (usually Madonna fans) like to assume. Of course, if I am wrong in assuming that is the reasoning behind starting this thread, Flea can be free to correct me on it.
I know I'm definitely not a big fan of organized religion
or politics, and I'm sure there's other Madonna haters on this board who feel much the same.
We all come from different backgrounds, different educations and different beliefs -- the one thing we have in common is that we all dislike/loathe Madonna to some degree. Quite a few of us either speak English as a second language (or third, or fourth, or... you get the idea) while other Anglophiles by birth may also be able to communicate in languages other than English.
There is no litmus test that proves whether or not you are a Madonna hater. You can enjoy the music but hate her attitude and vice-versa. The only criteria is that you dislike or hate something about her. That's all you need to get along here. Or, if you are a Madonna fan, staying in the Cranky Fans forum is fine.
Of course, you also need to follow the board rules and common
netiquette. But that's a given, right?
NOTE: This post is in the "Board Information & Updates section, and is read-only for regular members, Madonna fans and Contributors. If you wish to respond to the posts in this thread, you may do so either in the Madonna Blows Chunks section (if you are a hater) or the Cranky Madonna Fans section (if you are a fan).
