~~ EDIT BELOW ~~Mate An AlbumCheck out the first one, "Van Prince." "George Twain: Man, I Feel Like A Woman" is funny. I haven't looked at all of them yet. Takes forever to download on my computer. ~~ EDIT 1 ~~Rock Toons GalleryI just skimmed this page over. (Knight, there's a cartoon of Amy from Evanescence on there. ) ~~ EDIT 2 ~~This following 'find it' image is very simple. It's geared towards kids, but eh. Find the following items: eel, parrot, hairbrush, key, anchor, palm tree, turtle, pineapple I think it would be great to find on-line " Where's Waldo" images, but last time I looked, they were all "joke" pages. That is, a Flash file loads with a Where's Waldo image then after a moment, a picture of a scary alien head (complete with screaming audio) comes on. I don't know why someone doesn't post straight up Waldo pics on the web. Oh well.

I can't find most of the ghosts in these images. I spotted the ghost hand in the photo of the guy holding a camera, but that's it. Can any of you find the rest of them? Find the ghosts in the photos

Optical Illusions Site-edit - Speaking of optical illusions, someone sent me this "spinning woman" graphic in an e-mail. Please click to view the image - it is an ANIMATED GIF. You won't 'get it' if you just look at the static image, you have to see the image moving to see the optical illusion at work. Which side of your brain are you using? Which way does she turn for you?
This is really amazing. Read the information below. This will drive people crazy for hours.
  direct link
If you see this lady turning in clockwise you are using your right brain. If you see it her tuning the other way, you are using left brain.
Some people do see both ways, but most people see it only one way.
See if you can make her go one way and then the other by shifting the brain's current.
BOTH DIRECTIONS CAN BE SEEN.
Experimentation has shown that the two different sides or hemispheres of the brain are responsible for different manners of thinking. The following table illustrates the differences between left-brain and right-brain thinking:
Left Brain Logical Sequential Rational Analytical Objective Looks at parts
Right Brain Random Intuitive Holistic Synthesizing Subjective Looks at wholes
Most individuals have a distinct preference for one of these styles of thinking. Some, however, are more whole-brained and equally adept at both modes.
In general, schools tend to favor left-brain modes of thinking, while downplaying the right-brain activities.
Left-brain scholastic subjects focus on logical thinking, analysis, and accuracy.
Right-brained subjects, on the other hand, focus on aest hetics, feeling, and creativity.
If you look away, she may switch from one direction to the other.
I found that if I just look at her feet or relax and look at the floor where thereflection shows, she will switch direction!

| QUOTE (knightmuzic @ Sep 21 2008, 03:04 PM) | | No matter what angle I look at her from, she's always turning counter-clockwise for me. Which means I'm left-brained, as well as being left-handed. Which is kinda weird, because the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body, so I should be right-brained instead. I suppose that just means I'm wired differently. |
The very first time I looked at it, she was going counter-clockwise.
When I looked away from the screen and then back at the image a few moments later, she appeared to be going clockwise.
I am left handed, too, but according to this thing, I was first using the left side of my brain to view it, when you would think it would be the right side.

From what I saw in the TV commercial for this video game, and from this review, "Millionheir" seems to be a game where all you do is search for smaller, hidden images in larger images. IGN: Mystery Case Files: MillionHeir Review (for Nintendo DS) The core gameplay mechanic consists of scanning intricately detailed scenes looking for hidden items. You might have to find an apple, for instance, when there are lots of other shiny red objects cluttering the space. The apple might be partially behind something, or it could be presented in a manner you aren't expecting -- it might be just an apple core, for instance. The top screen displays the entire scene while you can pan and scan with an up close view on bottom. So far I've seen it advertised for the Nintendo DS. I'm unsure if it's available for other gaming systems. I'm not sure, but this site might have online puzzles: Mystery Case Files
