From what Emma could tell, it was going to be a nice day...a lot of sunshine and warm, friendly weather and it was the perfect day to take the dogs out for a walk. Usually walking both dogs at once meant trouble, since Val was the trouble maker and loved doing things to make Emma annoyed or in a slight fit of anger. Why should today be any exception?

At first it was normal, Val listened fairly well, with some restraint and hesitation. It wasn't that she didn't like Emma, it was just her nature and personality. Life was just a grand game to her and even though she was three years-old, Val acted much like a puppy of three months. Always playing and getting into things she shouldn't.

The park was lovely today, Emma was secretly delighted by the lovely weather as they walked. That was until Val decided to run unexpectedly and escape Emma completely, with her speed and desire to cause Emma to freak out, she was able to get away from her owner fairly easily, and playfully hang around a person sitting by the bench.
