Okay, so I'm new to the forum: what do I do now?

Introductions etc.

- Well, first, make sure you've registered on the forum under your NationStates nation-name (If you registered the wrong name, and would like it changed just telegram or PM 'Dundee East') - if you don't register you cannot post!

- Then, it would be a good idea to tell us a little about yourself and you nation by making a post in the 'Introduce Yourself' forum: http://s11.invisionfree.com/aberdeen/index.php?showforum=3 - you're guaranteed a friendly welcome from our 'regulars'!

- If all you want to do is just have some fun and a chat: checkout the Chat and General Discussion Forum; the Word Games Forum; and the Chatroom. Have fun!

- If you're into the more political aspect of NationStates it would be a good idea to read the Constitution and then attach your Leader's signature to it by replying to the thread. Reading the abridged constitution will give you a basic summary of our principles and system of government. Roleplaying

Well, there's our RolePlay Forums! RolePlaying is basically story writing, but written by a few people. RolePlaying is hard to explain, so make sure you've read some RP examples in our forum. Regional Government

Get involved in the running of the region! Read through some of the forums in the Parliament forums: http://s11.invisionfree.com/aberdeen/index.php?c=13

But remember, you can have your say without being a member of the Government proper. You can propose, debate and vote on Bills and Constitutional Ammendments in the House Of Members: http://s11.invisionfree.com/aberdeen/index.php?showforum=49

- If you want to be active in government, contact the delegate Forgottenlands UN (or on the forum: Forgottenlord) and he'll reply promptly!

- Alternatively, all the government Ministries (Ministry of Foreign Relations etc.) are always on the look out for deputies and helpers! Contact the heads of those Departments or look at their forums for details!
