Ok, so the merger committee from both Charis and Aberdeen is as follows:

Those represeting Aberdeen:

two good questions. here's the answer -
there are nine members of this committe already. If we open up the discussion to every member of both regions, then nothing will get decided or accomplished for quite sometime. The work of this committee is to bring back proposals - not accomplished facts. Anything that the committee recommends wil have to be voted upon by both regions to go into effect. And do not worry - there will be extensive debate allowed fro any recommendations that this committee bring back to this forum.

Any decisions that are made by the committee are NOT final until they hav ebeen voted upon... as it is though, yes, members of the committees SHOULD keep everyone in teh region informed of how the talks are going
