WELCOME
Welcome to Asylum 82
This hellhole will be your home until you either die of natural causes, someone else kills you, or you somehow found a way into the med cabinet. You will rot here, and lose all sense of self, unless you entered here without it. Many patients that have entered into Asylum 82 are here by their choice. Many are murder suspects that plead insanity to be here. And others were placed here because their families viewed them as unfit for society. Things tend to happen in this place, many patients are known to end up missing soon after arrival and be found hidden in a closets days later, and others are killed on the spot. Whatever the case, be careful who you befriend. Never know when someone will place an order to you have you killed.

THE SETTING
The place where it all happened.
"WHERE ARE WE?"

According to one of the Doctors, we're somewhere over in Eastern Europe.

I think she's lying to us. Why would we be in Europe?

When I asked the date, she said it was
Late August, but she wouldn't tell me what year.

WHAT'S WITH THIS PLACE?
They won't tell us anything.

CAN I ASK YOU SOMETHING
why is the sky blue?

Darin gazed quietly at the ceiling for several minutes, his eyes staring intently, as if he was hoping the ceiling would do some kind of trick, or perhaps it would change color. Go from the disgusting shade of off white to maybe something more attractive, like red or maybe even blue. Darin could stand those colors. But not white, it was too plain and too boring. Just like a plain piece of paper. It lacked luster and something that made it interesting. Closing his eyes, Darin sighed softly. Not long after lunch, Darin had escaped into his room. He had to get away from all of those people. They all stared at him, giving him the accusing gaze of some heartless killer. He wasn’t heartless, just confused and reckless. Finally opening his eyes, Darin looked towards the door. He felt trapped in his room, even though he had been the one to put himself there this time. Pushing his thin frame from the bed, Darin made his way towards the door. Giving the metal a gently rap, Darin called for the guard that should have been close by. Speaking as though he were a changed man, Darin asked to be let out of his room. When the guard asked him why, Darin explained he needed something to do, and the room was only driving his crazy even more. The guard gave a laugh, as if it were possible for a High Concern patient to get any crazier. Darin had shrugged it off as the door opened. Slipping passed the threshold, Darin disappeared into the corridor outside of his room. He needed to get away from his room, get away from his loneliness.

Once inside the elevator at the end of the hall, Darin waited patiently to reach the bottom floor. He had an idea of where he wanted to go. Once the doors opened, Darin made a sharp turn and found his way towards the music room. Aside from fire, Darin’s next love would have to be music. Whether it was playing a song on an instrument, or humming along with whatever song happened to be playing. Darin didn’t really care, as long as the music was good and had a decent beat. Glancing around the music room, Darin grumbled. Just like his room, the ceiling was an annoying shade of off white. Why did they insist on driving the patients even further into madness? Was that their goal? Push them to such a far point, that there really was no way of bringing them back? Maybe that’s why no one ever seemed to leave unless they were in a body bag. Tracing his eyes over the different instruments in the music room, Darin sighed softly. What was he in the mood for today? Was he in the mood for any of it? Walking over to the other side of the room, Darin gently picked up an acoustic guitar, examining it, he smiled slightly. It would do for now, until he grew bored of it and moved onto his next choice of the instruments he’d been offered.

Taking the guitar over to a chair in the room, Darin sat down with the guitar in his lap. His fingers gently caressed its neck, a smile playing over his lips. With the grace of a rock and roll god, Darin’s fingers began to strung over the strings, a pleasant yet rough melody played and bounced around the room. A faint echo sounded off in Darin’s ears. Strangely the guitar had been in tune, maybe they didn’t want to torture all of the patients, or perhaps someone else who knew how to play had been in there recently. Darin looked towards the door, almost hoping someone would walk in at that moment. He wanted to impress them, it didn’t really matter who it was. Darin’s thoughts halted for a moment. Maybe it did matter who it was. Darin didn’t want to impress just anyone. Somewhere deep within his heart, Darin was hoping that Quincy would walk through the doors to the music room. Maybe he would. All Darin had to do was wait.
