About
Life. It creeps in around you. It surrounds chokes you until you can’t breath. Year after year, it slowly kills you, dragging out the last bits of humanity you have left, and leaving you with nothing but a beaten body and a drained soul. So what can you do?
You run.
Welcome to Scarred Hearts, an original RPG based on the lives of a large group of runaways who have taken shelter in an abandoned cabin they dubbed "Haven." You may recognize our plot, and you're correct if you think that it came from an older board called PaintMYEyes__andcallmepretty. Scarred Hearts is the revamped, and somewhat different version of PaintMYEyes. We're hoping to see both old and new members here, so welcome and take a look around! Enjoy your stay!

KITCHEN
Lucky for the runaways living here, Haven does have a kitchen, complete with stove and cupboards.

LIVING ROOM
This is the general hang out area inside Haven. At night, some like to sleep on the two sofas.

MASTER BEDROOM
The master bedroom is the hot spot to sleep, considering the large, comfortable bed.

BEDROOM
The smaller bedroom with the two twin-sized beds isn't as comfortable as the master bedroom, but it will do for most.

FRONT PORCH
With every cabin comes a front porch, and Haven is no exception. This is yet another common hang out.

FIELD
Surrounding Haven is a large field of long grass, where several tents are set up for those who can't fit inside the house.

Past the field lies the forest, protecting Haven from outsider's eyes.

GARDEN
For years, the residents of Haven have kept a garden. It's mostly vegetables, but there are some flowers growing here as well.

CAFE
This little cafe is located in the center of town and pays fairly well. It's one of the common places for a Haven resident to work.

GROCERY STORE
This grocery store may be small, but it's the only one in town. Plus it's fairly easy to steal from, if you know what you're doing.

BOWLING ALLEY
The local bowling alley, located only a few blocks from Haven.

NORTHFORD LAKE
The lake is probably the largest thing in Northford. Not many people like to swim here, though--most prefer the pool...most.
