Treeport Illinois a small town and a good community, at least for the most part. The people of Treeport are divided by a small barrier, which side of town is better? Most believe its East since they come from money, but the West side of town say it's them, because they earn what they have.

And don't resent me
And when you're feeling empty
Keep me in your memory
Leave out all the rest

Now most people stay to their "own kind" as they put it, so it's unheard of two kids dating unless they come from the same back ground. Jensen and Sarah broke the misconception about love and where you come from. Jensen an East Ender, rich and one of the most popular guys in school, and Sarah a West ender, not having much but was always happy with her life, fell in love.

The two dated for a while and the couple, despite the rumors, seemed to stand together against it all. That was until Prom came around, Jensen broke up with Sarah a week before prom, and he seemed to back to his ex-girlfriend Molly. Sarah was shocked, and saddened by all of this. She was hurt and couldn't believe that Jensen would just go and do that to her.

Days before prom Sarah seemed a little on edge, and her friends tried to talk to her the best they could. The thing was, it was a just break-up and prom was filled with drama, so how could they know she would do what she did. Prom night itself was filled with complications for everyone, it was held at East High, instead of at both high schools. People protested, at had a sit in at West high, but most just went to the dance.

Sarah was still reeling over her break-up from Jensen and she needed to talk to him. So against the advice from her friends she went to prom looking for him, finding him shortly after she got there she repeatedly asked him why they broke up, but she didn't get a straight answer. After Jensen left Sarah in tears and went back inside to Molly, Sarah did something that no one saw coming. She proceeded to burn down the school. After locking all the doors, and setting the place of fire, she stood a watched her classmates through the glass, all of them having so much fun, all of them clueless.

East High was in flames by the time Sarah met her so called fate, she had jumped off the clock tower to her death. A small group of on lookers and rescuers were the only witnesses to her death. But she wasn't the only who died that night, kids from both sides of town died because of Sarah's actions, including Jensen and his girlfriend Molly. Now month’s later school has started up again, both sides having to attend West High. Not many people are happy about it, but most are still recovering from what happened only a few moths ago.

But the real question for all of the people in Treeport Illinois with all that has happened, will they be looking for REASONS TO BE MISSED or will they let the little prejudices that divided them before come back?
