If you find yourself neglecting one of your characters, PM an admin and we will delete the account. out of character. 1. Respect everyone on this site and they will extend the same courtesy. If you are found flaming, harassing, etc. any one of the members here you will be banned. We want a friendly atmosphere. 2. Keep your private life private. This means, keep your phone number, SSNs, and address to yourself. It is not the fault of the creators of this site if you are found in the real world if you gave out that information. If you feel your privacy has been invaded by someone else (meaning by no fault of your own) contact an admin and we will look into it. 3. The chatter box is a place for discussion and friendly banter. DO NOT SPAM. It is annoying and harsh on the eyes. A double post now and again is fine, but taking up pages and pages are unecessary. DO NOT ADVERTISE ON THE C-BOX. We have a section on the forums for that. posting. 1. All posts must be a minimum of two paragraphs, each containing five to seven sentences. Anything less will be considered a waste of space and therefore spam. All roleplays here are expected to be of the literate to advanced variety, so quantity matters. 2. Grammar and punctuation is taken very seriously here. DO NOT USE CHATSPEAK; it is lazy and annoying. Run your posts through a spell check on your word processor or an online version. 3. Make sure your posts reflect the current time of year and weather. If either changes before what you started has played out, don't worry about changing it; it has already begun. Also, be aware of the setting. If people are chatting and laughing in a library, don't post your character being in the roadhouse and expect interaction. avatars, font colors, & signatures. 1. Your signatures may not include any glitter or animated graphics. The former is tacky and the latter may cause pages to load more slowly. Be considerate to other members and avoid both. 2. Avatars may not exceed 100x100. Also, keep them as YOUR OWN CHARACTER. I know this seems obvious, but I am making it a rule to avoid confusion. 3. DO NOT make font colors difficult to read. Members should not have to copy and paste your post into their word processor to see what you posted. Avoid colors that are too light as well as colors that are too bright. there is a list in the support center--if you can't see the color against the background of the post, don't use it. Be kind to our eyes, please.
