overall personality » Colton is a really casual kid, without being so laidback that he's quiet or anti-social. No, he has a large amount of friends and values them more than he might let on. His friends mean the world to him, as much as music does, and he would never betray someone, whether it be an acquaintance or a close friend. He can often be found spending time with them and is social in that sense. He could be called a social butterfly among those people who don't dismiss him because he's not into the whole glamorous lifestyle, but not to the point that he approaches just anybody. Still, if he's around someone he doesn't know, he might strike up a conversation if he feels like it and is nice upon first encounter unless someone gives him reason not to be so. If someone is rude to him, he isn't going to bother trying to befriend them, because he doesn't feel that he needs to get people on his good side. Unless people are intimidated by him, which he finds hilarious because he's heard that a few times, then he's quite approachable.

Outgoing? You could definitely say that. Colton likes to have a good time and is the loudest around his friends. He loves to let loose and doesn't mind acting a fool around strangers, doing something wild and comedic, to him, for kicks. He goes out a lot with his buddies causing mischief and has a fun time with it, though he wouldn't hurt someone purposely - unless deserved, of course. He can be very good with getting revenge, but isn't all that vengeful unless someone does something significant to him, in which case you had probably better watch your back. Otherwise, he's nice enough and not that hot-tempered. He won't be a jerk if he has no reason to be one. He can often be found out and about and has a lot of energy, staying up until all hours. He carries his cell phone with him all the time because there is rarely a chance for you to catch him at home, and if he is at home, then rarely is he alone.

Colton is extremely laidback. He doesn't get swept up into the high-strung attitude in today's society and prefers to kick back and relax, while having fun of course. He doesn't mind being all over the place having a good time, but he doesn't like being rushed and doing things he doesn't particularly care for, like any fancy social events where he is likely to wreak a bit of havoc, or school for that matter. He sucks it up though and isn't one to complain, because he knows he is a lot more fortunate than the majority of people in the world and so doesn't want to take it for granted. He doesn't believe that he needs money to be happy either, but still works and likes to make money his own way for when he does need it.

As a friend, he is loyal and trustworthy. If a friend has gotten himself or herself into a compromising situation, Colton will come to the rescue and try to help out as best he can. He isn't a total softie, but is there as a shoulder to lean on when needed. That happens more with the girls though, for obvious reasons. He likes to tease his friends a lot, playfully, and doesn't usually take it too far, unless he's bugging one of his stressed out guy friends, in which case he might just keep pushing the guy's buttons to make him lighten up eventually. He is light-hearted and sometimes doesn't take matters as seriously as he should, but he is fun-loving and wants to remain that way. Call him immature sometimes, but he has a mature side too.

When it comes to girls, Colton doesn't mind comitting to a relationship when he finds the right girl, and he has been in a couple relationships in the past, despite him being young. He doesn't use girls and can be a sweetheart. He has a romantic side to him, but comment on it around other people and he might feel awkward and deny it. He has a good heart and good intentions overall. He tends to let a lot of emotions out through writing music too and has a big creative streak to him, at least when it comes to that aspect of the arts. He's never been very skilled with a paintbrush.

overall appearance » Colton's appearance is not something that he gives much importance. He sometimes doesn't even bother looking in a mirror when he goes out. Now being in high school and going through those difficult teenage years, he still isn't letting the whole obsession over appearance that many people have get to him. He is a very casual person and his laidback persona shows through his choice of attire. If he has to dress up for some social event, chances are he just won't show up because he doesn't have dressy things anywhere in his mess of a room. Jeans or long shorts and a t-shirt are perfect for him, and he has a typical skater boy look going on.

He hasn't completely filled out just yet, but he isn't so awkward-looking as say, when he was eleven. He shot up recently to around five foot seven and has a lean build, not being scrawny but not muscular either. He keeps fit mainly through skateboarding, unless he's in gym class and forced to participate in that case. His straight blonde hair is now grown out to past his ears, but he had it in a short and spiked style not too long ago. His eyes are a bright green color and big. One of the most brilliant aspects of his appearance is his smile. He has a really big, white smile, that he is often displaying when with his friends. One could say he has a bit of a dorky look at times, but he's not insecure, although he doesn't think himself anything special at all either.

personal history » Colton Maxwell Evans is the secondborn son of Clemence Desdier, once Clemence Evans, and Andrew Evans. He was born and raised in the city of Atlanta, Georgia, where his parents were both born and raised themselves. He was born into a lower middle class home, without too many financial struggles, but they still don't splurge on things. Clemence always wanted a daughter and after trying a few times after her second son's birth to have another child, she gave up on that. She tried to be happy with him, but apart from a little while in the beginning, the excitement of having a child died down. She was never cut out to be a mother. Andrew, on the other hand, was a good father to his sons, without being overbearing. He treated Colton more like a comrade than a child he had to discipline.

His parents divorced when Colton was ten years old, after irreconcilable differences. The two just weren't making it as a couple and would fight too often, their personalities clashing. Colton took more after his laidback father than his high-strung mother. Because his father was less well-off on his own though, Colton remained in the care of his mother while his father moved to another part of the city. His father later announced that he was homosexual, but that hasn't changed their relationship at all and Colton still loves his father. He used to see him every second weekend, and now the visits are more irregular, but usually more often than every two weeks, even if the visit is only for an hour or two.

Colton managed to make a lot of friends while growing up. Not the typically popular crowd, although he doesn't limit himself by any means to a certain 'clique'. He got in with the more laidback crowd because of that side of his personality. He still is friends with a lot of people he met in his childhood and keeps contact even with those who have moved, his friends being important to him. He continues to meet new people all the time though and loves it. Rather than playing lacrosse or football like his mother thought he should, Colton got into skateboarding and music. He would rather hang around a friend's basement with a bunch of close friends, laughing at whatever they were watching and knocking back beers once in middle school - oh, they do start early-, rather than hitting up an opening night of a club that he might be able to get into.

Middle school and now high school just served to let him fall into that more laidback crowd, introducing him to some new people and he is going through the typical teenage 'dilemmas'. He is popular among his group of friends, but popularity isn't important to him as long as he still has those great friends of his around. He doesn't care what other people think of him. The main interest he developed over the years is music, something his mother wasn't too fond of because she didn't think it was right for him to be so into it, but his father embraced his decisions. Colton picked up guitar when he was eleven and piano shortly after that on his own time although not as much, then started getting into singing along and now writes his own music. On his spare time, he can often be found writing new music, although nothing large-scale right now. He does alright in school, sometimes not so great, but is getting by. People tell him he should be more focused on his future, but Colton is doing what he loves now and wants to make the most of it now. After all, he's only a high school freshman.
