"It's raining It's pouring The old man is snoring. Bumped his head And he went to bed And he couldn't get up in the morning."
Ava sang as she set up the balance beam and sat down on the blue colored mats, stretching. She was decked out in black leggins, a rainbow-striped mini dress, and black ballet flats. She stretched for a good twenty minutes, just thinking. When she decided that she had stretched enough, the girl stood up and hoisted herself, gracefully, onto the two foot high balance beam. She walked back and forth a few times with her arms straight out on either side of her as she walked. She then did a few cartwheels and back flips on it. Surprising herself at the mere fact that she hadn't fallen. She was used to being the clutzy one. Always falling on her face, always tripping over the littlest things. It amazed her that she had never really fallen while doing gymnastics.
