Chloe hated it here already. They made her eat three full meals a day at least, which was to be expected, but the way the watched her like a hawk….it was unreal. She had to eat a certain amount of different foods as well. It killed her. She hated eating, she did not want to eat, and they couldn’t make her. It was her decision, her choice, her life. She filled her tray for lunch, and as she did, she registered the number of calories and carbohydrates in each product. Chips, Tuna Sandwich, Baby Carrots, and Water. Oh yes, water. Even though they’d like to have her drink Coke, or Lemonade, she still got by with water.’

The voice in her head screamed within her, rebuking for getting all of the fatty foods she “shouldn’t eat”. But who said just because she put it on her tray, meant she was going to eat it? She walked over to a deserted corner of the cafeteria, where no one was eating, and set her tray down. She sighed and sat, and pulled a hand through her thinning chestnut brown hair.

At a place like this, you were expected to eat. Now, it wasn't that Tyson dislike eating, but after years of a lack of it, it made him sick. He'd eat a few bites of rice, and feel stuffed. Deep down he knew he needed more food, but his mind and body were telling him that he had enough to sustain himself for the rest of the day. Usually it wouldn't be a problem. But then again, usually he was at home, where his parents gave him so much room to be himself, that he messed up .... messed up so badly that he was sent to this ... camp, as they called it. Tyson had never been to a camp before, but he was pretty sure that 'normal' camps were nothing like this. Where your every move was monitored. So when things got rough, he couldn't go off and get so pissed that he just forgot everything. Here he had to tough things out.

The thing was, that Tyson wasn't actually anorexic, not yet anyways. Close to. Before he was sent off to the camp, he was told that if he dropped ten pounds, he would have been admitted into the hospital. At least, he figured, this place was a whole lot better then a hospital. Where needles were stuck into you.

He grumbled to himself looking for a place to sit. Making friends had never been the boy's forte. Usually (at home) he'd show up at a party, get drunk, sleep with the nearest person. Never made many friends. Here that wasn't much of an option. So he's have to do things the old fashion way, the way he did things before he was fourteen, talk to people. Again, something that he wasn't all that great at. Tyson looked around for someone to sit with. Someone who looked like they were in the same, or close to the same position that he was in. He saw that in a girl who looked to be a few years younger then he was.

Tyson sat his tray of food down next to her, and looked at her. She was pretty, he would give her that much. "Erm ... you mind if I sit here?" He asked, clearing his throat, his voice slightly hoarse from lack of use.

Norah was wondering what to start eating, if she should it at all....at school or at home, she'd eat a few bites, then throw it all up, or, just not eat at all. The doctors had said three more pounds, and she would have been in the hospital for months. She wasn't sure if they were lying to her to get her to eat, or if it was true, but she didn't care either way. Anywhere was better than home, to Norah. She missed dancing, she missed Sasha, and didn't fully understand why she had to be here.

She was so surprised to hear someone's voice. Everyone usually ignored her; in fact, she was used to being invisible, never noticed, unless someone had a problem with her. She looked up, stunned a bit. "Er..yeah...sure...no one's sitting there but you." She spoke softly, only just above a whisper. She didn't know what to say anymore. Sometimes, at home, it was dangerous to talk; it might just get her more and more hurt. She was glad someone had come to her though...she really was starting to get lonely.

"Thanks," he muttered slipping next to her. He didn't eat, at least not right away. He played with the food on his plate, not really doing much else with it. He wasn't hungry, and for some reason no one around here could accept that. He usually did and up forcing it down his throat, and held it down, but he didn't like it. The only thing he liked about this place was that he wasn't the only one that was as messed up as he was. Tyson would openly admit that he screwed his life up. He knew he did what he did to himself. Some might say that he put a little too much blame on himself, but it was the way he felt.

"So," he said trying to fill the silence, "Not too hungry either are you?" He asked looking at her plate.

Chloe shook her head. "Not much.' She hadn't eaten anything she had gotten, only played with it, and moved it around on her tray. She took a sip of water....that would help throw everything back up later, if she needed to. "I'm Chloe." She introduced herself, not looking up from her food. She really wasn't a big talker, but would talk if talked to, or if absolutely necessary.

Tyson gave her a light grin before turning back to his food. First couple bites were never bad. It was after that when he was already full. He shoveled a few bites of whatever (not really paying attention) into his mouth. And he was right. After a couple of mouthfuls, he didn’t think he could handle much more.
“Well this sucks,” he mumbled to himself.
“Tyson,” he said when the girl introduced herself. “Not much of a talker are you?” He mused at her quite voice as he studied the tray in front of him.

Norah got sick even just watching the boy across from her eat? How could he do that? She felt her stomach churn---now she had even less of an appetite, than before, if she even had one before, which she didn't. She looked at her food, wanting to puke. But she knew she was being watched, even now, in the back corner, nonpoplulated part of the room. She'd have to wait until later.

She shook her head no. No, she wasn't much of a talker, even when talked to. She didn't like to talk, and was even more shy around guys, strange guys, that she didn't know. After everything that happened to her, she was always weird around guys. She was afraid Sasha would come after her--he nearly always did when she found out she was at Rehabs--but seeing as this one was so secluded from everywhere else, and her mam and his boyfriend were in jail, she figured she had at least a month before she really had to worry.

He was tired of this place already. If it hadn't been for the friends he had made here, he’d ditch it, and live on with his problems. Even if it killed him in the end. Being watched like he was just made him uncomfortable. It was like he had no freedom at all. But that was what should be expected. He looked at the food untouched by Chloe. "You do realize that one way or another your going to eat that?" He said before clamping his mouth shut. Another one of the boy's problems. He'd speak then ask questions. "Heh, sorry." He said scratching the back of his head.

"Guess not," he mumbled pushing the food around his plate. Tyson looked up at the girl. It might have been just him being self-conscious, but he could have sworn that she looked a bit worried. "I won't touch you, you know that? I'm not into that." It was true that he got around, but it wasn't like he'd do anything without the other person actually wanting to. "Or girls" He added looking at her. It wasn't like he walked around with a huge "I am gay," sign on his forehead, but he figured it was more or less obvious from the way he looked and dressed. But that was just his opinion.

Chloe looked up from her plate of food. "Well, that sure is good to know." She looked back down at her tuna sandwich. She had to eat something and that looked the most appetizing. She lifted it to her mouth and took the smallest bite one had ever seen, if you could even call it a bite; it was more like a nibble. She didn't have to even chew it, it just went right down.

Tyson looked back down at his plate and grinned lightly. He pushed what was on it around a little more, before taking another bite. He really didn't know how much he could it. It wasn't like he didn't want to. It was that he couldn't. He looked up to se the girl across from him taking what he thought to be the smallest bite possible.

"So," he said scrating the back of his head, trying to think of something to say to fill the silence that hung in the air around to two of them, "How is this place?" ha asked pretty sure of the answer. Not many of the 'campers' were particularly thrilled to be here, himself included. He was more of a 'I'll fix it myself,' kind of person.
