Title: New Moon Actors?

So,
word on some of the boards/official websites says that:
Taylor Lautner isn' going to playJacob anymore. He's just too darn short and skinny. So instead they brought in Micheal Copan, who played the young kid in the Scorpian King II. He fits, I suppose.
and of course, Ben Barnes is playing Aro.
Does anyone else find that particularly funny that Prince Caspian is also going to be Aro? I find that amusing. I guess though that Ben Barnes is from around Greece (I believe) but I'm still going to see him as Prince Caspian, fighting with Narnians to defeat the telemarines. (I happen to be a fan of Narnia..)
So it kind of amuses me that Ben Barnes is playing what I find a weird role for him.

That's sad. I like Taylor. But yeah, he's not quite big enough for Jacob once he becomes a big werewolf. Poor guy.
As far as the Prince Caspian thing, haven't seen that movie so it doesn't really affect me. So.....I'll take your word for it.

Apparently Taylor is fighting for the role of Jacob. He said he's been working out since the filming of Twilight ended. He's gained 19p pounds in muscle and he says that he promises Chris he'll gain 10 more for the role. Apparently he's talking to Chris about it over lunch. It will be interesting to see what happens. Personally, I'm pulling for Taylor.

I hope Taylor can still be Jacob, coz ever since he was chosen for the role, in my head when reading the saga over and over again I imagine Jacob to look like Taylor with long hair.
It's gonna be hard!
Well, I hope he stays and you can see how anticipated he is in it, determined!!
Can't wait for New Moon to come out and I hope they do Eclipse and Breaking Dawn!
There'll be more action!!

They will not be filming Breaking dawn, but they will film Eclipse. The actors only signed a contract for three movies (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse) Breaking dawn would be too difficult(One beause they'd have to find a different yet similar actor for Bella) but also because Renesmee changes too fast. You would have to have about five actors just for one role, and all have to look the same. That would be a little challenging.
The only thing about Taylor Lautner that I didn't care for was his hair....I have to say that when I read about Jacob in Twilight, I imagined him more with..shoulder length hair...not necessarily with almost-down-to-the-waist-looks-good-on-girl-hair.
I think the new director will make a good movie out of the following books. Though I have to say I still have low expectations for them, just because I know the books are better.
So, since I've been riding passenger on the gossip train (clary's been getting all the magazines and notices on email and whatever) did anyone else hear that Rob Pattinson shaved his head? Won't that be wonderful for Edward leaving? A nice buzz-cut, hallelujah.

He did that a while ago. It was funny because on the Twilight Lexicon they had a picture of him and under it it said "Three Words: It'll Grow Back." It was kinda funny.
Taylor....I really hated the wig. In Twilight his hair looked so fake, it wasn't even funny. I'm just happy that in New Moon Jacob has to cut his hair after he becomes a werewolf.
Yeah, Breaking Dawn def. wouldn't work. But I'm just glad they're at least doing Eclipse too. So that's good. They could mesh the beginning part of BD into the script. But really just the wedding. But I doubt it'd be worth it.
I also heard that they might just replace Rob all together because he likes to party just a little too much....which can be bad publicity.

Good news about New Moon from director Chris Weitz:
I'm very happy to announce that Taylor Lautner will be playing Jacob Black in New Moon and that he's doing so with the enthusiastic support of Summit Entertainment, the producers, and Stephenie Meyer.
The characters in Stephenie's books go through extraordinary changes of circumstance and also appearance; so it is not surprising that there has been speculation about whether the same actor would portray a character who changes in so many surprising ways throughout the series. But it was my first instinct that Taylor was, is, and should be Jacob, and that the books would be best served by the actor who is emotionally right for the part. I think that fans of Twilight the book and the movie will be surprised by the Jacob Black that Taylor will bring to the screen in New Moon; and I'm looking forward to working with him and the rest of the cast in realizing the film.

I'd just like to add that I was very much a part of this decision. My first priority was always what was best for New Moon—what was going to give us the best possible movie. I'm truly thrilled that Taylor was the one who proved to the director, to Summit, and to me that he is the best possible Jacob we could have. And I'm very much looking forward to seeing what he's going to bring to Jacob's character this year.

Honestly i don't care for Rob as Edward he just doesn't pull it off for me. Like i can't picture anyone wanting to lust over him...in anyway,,but thats just me. Personally i think if they do replace Rob and chose a new Edward they should look at Matt Dallas for the role. He stars in the ABC family show Kyle XY. Hes ot amazingly hott like Edward should be but i think hes better than Rob. Ohhh and he has the hair for it 2 since Robb doesnt have the hair anymore. I think Matt would make a good Edward because hes cute but he can pull of scary if he needed too...for Rob i think he just pulls off weird and looks alot like hes in pain. PLus i think Matt actually washes his hair regularly unlike Rob......but again its jus my opinion. If you want you guys should look Matt up and watch a clip of Kyle XY.

I heard some gossip that Rob is sort of like that..
But I still think he really is suited for the movie...
Many of my friends doesn't like him very much...

Taylor Lautner is damn fine! At first i thought Robert was better looking but if you
really think about it hes not that great . And Dakota Fannin as Jane?! whats up with
that i imagined Jane with black hair not Dakota Fannin! In New Moon Edwards only
gonna be there at the begging at school,Bella's party,school again ,when he says
good-bye to her in the forest and in Italy. Thats really not a lot but anyway its
gonna be interisting to see how the movie turns out its gonna be so hard to go
when it first comes out i'm gonna have to buy my ticket online a week in
advanced! lol
