Let's get to know you

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

Well, I'm a self-motivated, and determined individual. When I see something that I want, I will find away to obtain it, and in a pleasureable way at that. I'm efficient, and hard working. I don't believe in starting something without the intent to finish it. I treat everyone with the professional courtesy that is deserved. If you're unkind to me, it can be accepted of me to reciprocate the same feelings and actions. I'm not a bitch, pardon my language, but I do know how to get underneath someone's skin, if necessary. If I like you, and you deserve my respect, I'll give you that and much more. However, if you don't deserve my respect, or if we've had problems before, you'll be lucky enough just to get my famous half-hearted smile.

A friend once described me as Sexually Adventurous, and it's stuck ever since then. I'm not afraid to take risks, in any situation. Risky behavior is something that turns me on. Whether it's in the bedroom, or in everyday life. Surprise, and Change never hurt anyone. I am likeable to those that know me, and I mean really know me. Sure, I give off the bitch impression, and that's probably because I'm an attractive young woman, and people are merely envious of me and my skills. I can be your confidant, bestfriend, gal pal, fag hag...you name it, and I'll be there for you. But if you do me wrong, you can't expect me to send memos your way anymore. Fair is fair, right?

When I'm happy, I'm giddy. My excitement has been known to flow through other people. I'll be nice to just about anyone when I'm truly happy. I'll crack jokes, and pranks, and even buy lunch for a special select few. So it's a smart idea to be on my good side. And even though I'm just a receptionist...I run this place, and am very good at it. You'll tend to notice that when I'm upset with someone. Suddenly, they'll stop getting telephone calls, and emails, and faxes. Is it cruel...no, just me being vindictively poilite. Now, when I'm sad, you'll be lucky to even notice me so vulnerable. I keep most of my personal stuff locked tight inside. My mother could have died that morning, and you'd never even notice an ounce of grief. Sometimes it can be hard, but I know when and how to keep my work life seperate from my private life.

What are your strengths?

:: I'm a determined, and self-motivated young woman. When I want something, I see fit to get it, and I keep the ambiance of professionalism while doing so.
:: I'm highly organized, both with my work space, and wardrobe. I know how to look good when on the clock in both my actions, and appearance.
:: I'm not too trusting of people, which I've always seen as a positive trait of mine. I need to get to know someone first, before opening myself open to them. It's an emotional security for me. I don't want to get hurt, if I can avoid it entirely.
:: I hate bragging, but I am an excellent dancer. I was classically trained here in New York starting at the age of four. I'm excelled in Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, and Tap. The only kind of dancing I do now though, is strictly at a club.
:: I'm exceptionally good at reading somone, not telepathically or anything, I am able to read a person's face, mannerisms, and body language. It helps me know how to address certain people, when I'm able to read them, see what's going on in their head.

What about your weaknesses?

:: I'm sexually adventurous, sometimes...too often. I wouldn't classify myself as a slut, I don't sleep around for money. I sleep around for power, and the growth of my carreer. My number of partners is still countable on one hand. So I'm not a slut, just extremely promiscuous.
:: Money has never been a thing I could handle well on my own. I have my own financial advisor, who happens to be a close friend. They help mantain my check book, becuase I'm terrible with numbers. Math was not my strongest subject.
:: I can be a bitch. I won't lie about it because, it's who I am. Not that I have a temper, but when people are aksing for it, I know how to give it to them back, twice as bad. Yeah, I can play hardball. The sad part about it, is that I actually enjoy doing it most of the time.
:: Holding grudges is something I've been terrible with since being a young child. I will remember every little thing you do, that isn't beneficial to me. I will let it stupor inside, until I'm ready to unleash my revenge. And then even after I've gotten back at you...I'll still remember.
:: I'm a terrible cook. I can't brew up a batch of coffe, and the last time I tried to boil water, my Kitchen caught on fire. I'm dangerous to be around in a Kitchen.

What kind of things do you like?

:: Going to the club on a Friday night, with my two best gal pals. Drinks, guys, and dancing...sounds like the perfect night to me.
:: One thing I have to have every morning is, placing my phone on "Not Here," and then having my ritual of Starbucks, and an Onion Bagel with Strawberry Cream Cheese. This time in the morning means more to me than my lunch break.
:: A man in control, with lots of power, is a huge turn-on for me. I like a man that knows how to take me by the reigns and tell me whats up.
:: Fashion, and Entertainment is something I have to stay current with. Let's just say that Perez Hilton is under my favorites on my Internet browser, that and TBZ.
:: I like being behind a camera. I've been told that I'm photogenic, and have even done a couple of photo shoots before...but it's never really gone anywhere, so I just enjoy it as a Hobby.

How about dislike?

:: Women that don't take pride in themselves is something that has always grinded my gears slightly. If someone I know isn't wearing enough make up, or their hair isn't right...you can be sure that I'll not only comment, but fix it for you as well.
:: I don't see my family that much anymore. I'm not proud of them, and don't want to be associated with the bunch. They make me feel like a less important person than what I am. They are just plain ol' embarrassing.
:: I hate animals. I've just never been a fan. Cats always seem to want to cut me, and dogs are just gross. They drool, bark, and sniff people's crotches. Having a pet is almost barbaric to me. Animals, are animals...not friends.
:: Oh my god, I can't stand brown nosers. Kissing someone's ass is just so degrading. It shows that your weak, and inferior, rather than unique, and different.
:: Valentine's Day sucks. I don't date anymore, because I want to keep myself open for an "improvement" in my carreer. All Valentine's day does for me is remind me why I don't have stable relationship with anyone. It's the stupidest Holiday ever created...besides Easter.

Do you have any habits?

:: When I don't have anything important to occupy my time with, I'm a sucker for giving myself a manicure. You'll see me countless times a day filing my nails, or even changing their color, it's so much more fun than reading a book.
:: I'm bad when it comes to flirting on the Executives upstairs. I can't help myself. I'm a fool for a man with power. And note, it is so different to hit on, than to suck up. I'll "accidentally" drop my pen, and perform the best bend & snap ever seen.
:: I'm vain, and yes I think this song is about me. I love to look in a mirror, and check myself out. It's so vain and concided on me, but I have to check myself out atleast once every 2o minutes or so. You never know when you can get a smudge or a strand of hair that feels like clumping up.

Where are you from originally? Brooklyn, born and raised.
What has your life been like?

Well, I've lived here in New York my entire life. I grew up in Brooklyn with my dysfunctional family of six. There's my Mom, Anita. She's retired now, and lives at home with my stepfather, Charlie, in the same house I grew up in. I never knew my father as he was sent to Federal Prison, before I was born. Charlie was there from the start though and raised me as his own daughter, so I consider him my father. Then there's my three older brothers, Marco, Anthony, and Rocky. Marco and I had a great relationship when he still lived with us. But after he finished High School he moved to California, and immediately started a family. We still talk, and get along great, as we both dislike where we came from. He has made me an Aunt recently, to a little niece named Victoria. I haven't been able to see her yet, but I plan on making a trip soon.

The rest of my family I am really not that close with. Anthony is in Prison, and will probably never get out. Rocky, who's just a couple years older than me, has warrants out for his arrest and is bound to end up with Anthony, eventually...like always. My mother is a heavy drinker, and it upsets me to see her, so I don't often. Maybe once a year or so, and it's never for very long. I like my stepfather, Charlie. He does the best he can, and he tries to help her. She's just a handful, I don't see how he does it. Charlie is the one who got me into Dancing. It started with an after school program, and led into taking actual classes. I had recitals, and he actually attended, and brought me flowers every time. Charlie was a big inspiration for me. It's just a shame that I have to see my mother every time I want to see him. I'm not proud of where I've come from. I've always been like that with my family...like the catalyst, and compared to them, that's a very good thing. Marco is the only exception. He is must like me to. He doesn't like to represent that side of himself, and neither do I. We're ashamed of our family. Holidays were always crazy, and full of drama.

I struggled with my family, while growing up. It wasn't easy for a seven year old girl, to help her drunk mother to the bathroom to throw up. I led a seperate life when I was at school. I was popular, I was cool. It's a natural thing I have about myself. So, after High School I moved in with a boyfriend and started to attend Night classes. During the day I worked as a Receptionist at a small lawfirm. After a couple of years I got tired of the atmosphere there, and moved on over here to the New York Tribune, where I hope to work my way up, anyway I can. SO...I've been here for about 3 years...and I'm still just a Receptionist. Maybe we should talk about that...behind closed doors. I'd like to work my way up to Assistant Lifestyles Editor within the next...well as soon as possible would be nice. How can we make that happen?

Who do people say you look like? Mila Kunis

Tell us about your hair.

My hair has been thick and dark since I entered this Kill or be Killed world. My hair is obviously black, and yes it's very natural. I've never died, or had highlights in my hair. I only get it cut every couple of months or so, to take care of any split ends. It depends on the morning I'm having, on whether or not it's up or down. I don't really have a preference. It all depends on my outfit. I spend a good 20 minutes on my hair every morning, sometimes 30 if I feel like impressing someone. My hair has been at nipple length for a couple of years now. It's almost always is in its natural bounce right below the shoulders. I love my hair, and never want it to be any shorter than it is now.

What are your eyes like?

My eyes are a dark brown. They don't show any emotions, unless I want them to. I'm very good at looking reserved. They sparkle in the right kind of light, but arn't really anything special to me. It takes alot of make up skill to get them to look as good as they do.

How tall are you? 5'4"

What is your body like?

Well, as you can see for yourself, I'[m obviously not fat, now am I? I like to stay in the best shape. I'll hit up the gym about twice a week to ctach a quick Pilates class, but other than that I get all my exercise out, dancing in the clubs. I use to feel really skinny, and rather than pack on the pounds I decided to focus on my muscle tone. It's eloquent now, and I feel as beautiful as ever. When it comes to my breast size, which I'm sure you're just dying to hear, I'm just a 32C. Nothing too big, and nothing too small. Just perfect...like the rest of my body. Lean & Fit. But enought about my body, let's hear about yours?

What kind of clothes do you like?

When at work, I dress fashinoably professional. I like to show a bit of cleavage, and leg, but not enough to be unappropriate. I really like wearing skirts, with a matching top. I don't like to wear pants at the office, I don't find them fancy enough. So all slacks, and denim are at home, and are hardly ever worn. I'm not big on pants, and never have been. I like to show off my rockin' legs, especially when dancing. They are my best feature...well one of them. When I'm at home the fancy clothes come off, and the comfortable clothes come on. Soffee shorts, and a printed Tee is what I prefer to wear around the house, when I'm alone. But I have so many wardrobe's of clothes its hard to keep track of it all. Some things are worn only once, and then donated to Charity. Yeah, most of my money is spent on clothes. My style is chic. I always have to look good. I have to represent myself constantly here in the big city. Name brand clothes only.

Do you have any distinguishing features?

My skin tone is dark, but almost with an olive tint to it. I'm half Puerto Rican, and half Spanish. The European in me does show. I do not have any tattoos on my body. I don't disapprove of them, I just don't know if I want one for the rest of my life. I do have one imprefection on my skin though. The tiniest and most unnoticiable scar, behind my right ear. I was stung by a hornet when I was Seven. My ear swelled up to the size of a peach, and the Doctor had to make an incision to relieve some of the pressure. Depending on my outfit, yes I do wear Jewelry. The morning battle though is always, how much, and what? I do have both my ears pierced. I got them done when I was an infant, doesn't everyone? My voice is a little high, but not squeaky. I can talk deep, and low...but I don't like trying to sound like a boy, it's stupid. MY voice is sweet, but can be venomous....but I prefer to be sweet.
