How old are you? "I'm 28 years old. But let's not tell anyone OK? "

Let's get to know you

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

"So the thins about me that you need to know is, I have a sort of split personality. Not the kind from being like actually insane (like Harry), but the kind in which I have random changes of moods and ideas. Most of the time I'm the usual laid back stoner type of attitude. I have a pretty good amount of friends cause people seem to enjoy my company. I am out going and friendly, so I know pretty much everyone.

The other side of me is sort of quirky. I can get damn sarcastic when I want to be, and I'm completely selfish. I guess since I grew up as almost an only child (I only got to see Harry once or twice a month), I was used to having everything to myself. Now a days I don't want others to know my ideas or techniques. That's basically why I always work in a corner alone, by myself. When I have an assistant I scare them away by giving them bitch work.

When it comes to relationships for some reason cool Mickey goes away and weird, creepy Mickey comes about and causes havoc all over the place.I'm cool for a while, fun and lovable, but then after a few weeks my selfish and ugly head rears. I act jealous and stalker-like. Stupid stupid me. I always do this the most when I really love the guy.

I love my job, because it's something I love to do. Working with my brother is also a big perk. The drama and excitement of a newsroom makes me incredibly happy. I get to go into the office basically at any time, and stay there til the late hours of the night. Then I get to go home and unwind."

What are your strengths?

:: "I'd have to say my biggest strength is my eye for design. Not only do I work with layout design, I also dabble in graphic design and fashion design. I love creating things from nothing, and I'd like to think I kick some ass at it. I design and create most of my clothes, but I don't think I would ever go public with it. I don't want others to look as fabulous as I do."
:: "I'm a wiz on a computer. Not only do I use all those crazy design programs, I can also fix 'em up when they are broken. I'm no tech kid or anything, but I usually fix things for free!"
:: "I'd like to think of myself of a match maker. Apparently I'm excellent at setting up everyone, except myself. I'm quite a good judge of character, which helps me put people together. Four of the couples I set up have gotten married, so I have a reputation to uphold."
:: "I'm a pretty decent artist. I would much rather compose things on the computer, but every now and then I whip out my paint brushes and canvass and make a work of art! I have sold a few, but I definitely couldn't make my living that way."
:: "I don't usually tell people this, but I'm acquainted with a few forms of martial arts. I figure a girls' got to learn how to defend herself in these big cities. Since I'm pretty thin and fragile looking, besides my height, so they assume I'm weak."

What about your weaknesses?

:: "I'm not a good writer at all. For some reason my brother was gifted with the art, but I can't put two sentences together. I guess it's a good thing I know how to work with design, because reporting would not be a option."
:: "One tiny problem with me-I'm a pothead. Maybe that's why I'm so good at artsy shit. Anyway, the only problem with this is I lose focus easily, and always miss apointments. Oh well!"
:: "Some people, like my brother, call me selfish. I try not to be, but I'm terrible at sharing, especially my ideas and techniques. This makes me a pretty awful mentor, and anyone who has to be my assistant is in for a real treat."
:: "I don't have the best luck with guys. Maybe relationship problems run in my family. Most guys think I'm too "out there", or they just want to be friends. I don't really understand this because hell, I'm a good lookin' gal. Basically I get a little bit loopy when in a relationship, and some say I'm controlling. I'm workin' on it, but who can blame me for trying to keep hold of my man?"
:: "I'm a bad driver. No, scratch that, I am a dangerous driver. Why the hell they let me get my lisence is beyond me."
:: "I can be a bit sarcastic some of the times. OK that's an understatement. I love the sarcasm. Usually others get annoyed with it, but damn it, that's just how I am."

What kind of things do you like?

:: "My favorite person in the world has to be my kitten, Eleanor Rigby (yea, I'm obsessed with the Beatles just like Harry). She is the sweetest, runt of the litter kitten with orange tiger stripe paws and ears, while her body is all white. She is only 3 months, so she is still pretty little and curious."
:: "I love going to see plays, especially on Broadway. Phantom of the Opera is number one on my list, but there are many I have yet to see. When a guy is willing to go to a play with me, I know he is a keeper."
:: "I absolutely love when people compliment me on my fashion. Of course, I try not to brag about it if I designed it, yet sometimes it just slips out."
:: "My cell phone. It is the cutest fucking thing I have ever seen. It's tiny, light blue, and does like a million things."
:: "Need I say this... I love weed. Oh yes, I love me some good kind bud, sour diesel, or something. I usually smoke blunts, or joints, but I do have a large bong named I am the Walrus. It's a tie dye swirl of colors, and stands about a foot."
:: "Mmmmm cigarettes."
:: "I'm a big salad eater. I don't hate meat, or anything like that, but I'd rather have a good salad over a steak any day. I'm picky when it comes to my salad ingredients. Lettuce, cucumbers, broccoli, onions, cheese, bacon bits (the fake ones) and ranch dressing. I have to make it myself!"

How about dislike?

:: "Dogs. I'm sorry, I just don't like dogs. They are cute and all, but I can't deal with that kind of attention. Cats are cool cause they play hard to get, just like me."
:: "Dating. God I wish some magic would happen and somehow I end up with the perfect guy and can skip all this flirting and dating bullshit and get to the good stuff."
:: "Reality TV. Basically that doesn't need to be said since everyone hates reality TV. But I don't like any of them. Top Model, Top Chef, Top Whatever I don't give a shit they are all dumb."
:: "Getting drunk. I don't hate the taste of alcoholic, but I do not enjoy getting wasted. Yea, let's puke all over five hot guys and pronounce my love for George Clooney while taking off my shirt. Sounds awesome."
:: "I'm not a big fan of PC's, It's MAC's all the way baby. They just make more sense and admit it, they are way cuter. PC's are so cavemanesque."

Do you have any habits?

:: "Wake and bake. Got to do it, or I can't even bring myself to go to work before one p.m."
:: I always watch an episode of Scrubs every day. Since I own all seven seasons, it takes me a couple weeks to finish just one season."
:: "I pull at strands of my hair when I'm bored. Mind you, I only pull out single strands of hair, so sometimes the floor beneath me is covered with my hair, as if I'm shedding."

What is your sexual preference? "I'm straight, mostly. I have some moments where I can get a little lesbianish however."

Where are you from originally? Lowell, MA

What has you life been like?

"So my life hasn't been as disastrous or complicated as my brothers. I was born into a world with no father, and a slightly whoreish mother. I got to see my brother Harry every month or so, and he was my shining light. He was the only male figure in my life, and on top of that, he was awesome. I followed him around most of the time, and he never minded it too much, even if he complained. We had a love/love relationship, and I was always excited when we would go on adventures.

As I got older I idolized Harry and his writing. I wanted to be a writer, pretty badly, so I could be just like him. Well just my luck, I sucked at writing. After a few years of horrible pieces of work, and insults from my brother, I gave it up.

I always had a knack for fashion, and an eye for design, even when I was a wee babe. I didn't really think of it as a career choice, until I hit high school. I there learned the ups and downs of the design world, and began layout for the school paper. My work was far beyond that of any student designer, and it got noticed right away. I began designing other publications for friends and small businesses. I also worked on fashion design, but never, ever sold that work.

Once college came around, I attended a small school in the back ass woods of Vermont. I learned that design was my future, and graduated with honors. For a while I free-lanced, and though it was fun it wasn't too profitable. Finally, I moved to NYC, and begged my brother to get me into the Tribune. That was about 4 years ago. The last four years have been heaven, and hell."

Let's talk about appearance

Who do people say you look like? I get called... Samaire Armstrong all the time. Who the hell is that and why did she take my face?

Tell us about your hair.

"Well there isn't anything too thrilling about the mop I call my hair. I usually dye it, I don't really like the natural blond look. Raven black is more my style. I haven't had it long in years, it really is too much of a hassle in the morning. Currently I have it cropped at my chin, and is sort of curls under to frame my face. I have shorter bangs that hang over my eyes (bad call on my part), and that's about it. I can't do much with it since it is so sort, but usually I try to wrap a scarf around my head, for fashion reasons and just so it gets the hell out of the way."

What are your eyes like?

"I have rich, milk chocolatey eyes which have flecks of gold and orange in them. From a distance they don't look fantastic, but if you get up close you see the swirls of different colors. My eyes can get very dark and can look almost black when I'm royally pissed off."

How tall are you?

"I'm tall and I loveee it. I stand at about 5'10", and feel as if I could crush all the little shorties with my big toe."

What is your body like?

"I'd like to call my body type "long and willowy". I'm thin, but I try not to get too thin. I guess some days I just forget to eat. Anyway, since I am so tall I have long legs, and crazy long arms. My stomach is flat and toned, since I always do my yoga. I have a small chest, though my curvaceous ass makes up for it. One part of my body I love are my shoulders."

What kind of clothes do you like?

"Because I make most of my clothes, I have a whole variety of styles. I love dresses the most, and own about fifty of them. Most dresses I make are knee length or shorter, and I often wear knee high boots with them. My best dress, at least I think it is, is a ivory colored cotton dress which hits my knees. The sleeves fall off my shoulders, and there is a hole cut in the side, to show a bit of my stomach and side. I usually put a colorful belt over it, and wear a pair of tan suede, knee high boots. I love bright colors, so a lot of my clothes are tie dye. I also make a lot of gypsy like tops, and skinny jeans. I hate wearing a lot of layers, because they make me feel bogged down and sweaty. I love boots the most, and have many different styles and colors."

Do you have any distinguishing features?

"My skin is quite pale, since I hate being out in the daylight hours. It's rather smooth and clear, because I like to take care of my self. I usually wear a good amount of makeup, not slut like, but just noticeable. Eyeliner and either bright colored lipstick of a dark purple. I love accessories as well, so I wear dangling earrings, crazy amounts of bracelets and rings, and usually a necklace or two. For tattoos I have two. One set of large angle wings coming off my shoulder blades down my back, and one white lily on my right ankle.

As for my voice, I guess you could call it strong, with a breathy hint to it. I don't sound like a man or anything, but I think I have the voice of a woman in charge."
