"One day our generation, is gonna rule the population, so we keep waiting (waitin) waitin on the world the change..."

Tucker sighed slightly to himself as he sat at on the edge of the lake, his eyes flickering slowly from the lake to the plants that alligned the lake, to some of the people who were walking around the lake. It was a nice, serene expeirence. Everything was peaceful and there was nothing to worry about at the moment. Just him, his music..and him. Everything was just the way it was supposed to be; perfect. Something about the lake was just the perfect place for him to be right now.

Tucker sighed for a moment as he pushed his hair back a bit and then looked out to the lake again as he continued to look out towards the water, simply amazed by the peaceful solidity of the mini-ocean. It was like, a sheet of glass. He could always throw a rock into the water and just watch the ripple and disappear, watch it turn into nothing more then a wave of ripples. To break the illusion would be the right thing right now. Illusions were simply that; illusions and nothing more then that. A Fantasy.

The male smiled slightly, chuckling a bit as he rolled his eyes once more to himself. "Sounding like a Ravenclaw." He muttered as he smirked a bit and shook his head. He cracked himself up sometimes. Making compariions to Harry Potter. That was just plan on dorky.

He didn't care though. It was nice to sometimes just be a nerb, to enjoy the lands and just, think; release all your thoughts. It was like a form of meditation.

Ah, Aurora Lake. The area was sort of an oxymoron to Donovan. A place that was the pure essence of simplicity and serenity held some of the most rambunctious and utterly chaotic memories for him. During the days the sun would beam down on the families enjoying time together and delving headfirst into the wonders that the little slice of nature held for them. When the moon replaced the sun, teenagers replaced the parents and children. Mother Nature was seen through a blurred double vision brought on by a generous amount of alcohol consumption. Fishing was replaced with beer pong. Campfire stories replaced with drunken sex. The minnows and various fish were scattered by skinny dipping teens thrashing through the lake. Yes, the lake brought back a feeling of blissful recklessness and shameless pleasure. However his visit did not promise any of this. For the first time in quite awhile he was able to look at the glossy water with admiration. The scenery comforted him, lulling him into a humbled state that he rarely achieved.

Various bystanders dotted the sandy shore of the large lake, talking amongst themselves or just enveloped in the environment around them. It didn’t take long at all for him to spot the kid alone along the edge of the water. The term ‘kid’ was not entirely accurate as he only had less than a year on the teen, but the term had stuck as being associated with most anywhere near his age. In fact Tucker seemed to be older than himself. He was most definitely decades ahead in maturity. A trait that he usually found unimportant and bothersome although he valued it in his long time friend, neighbor, and therapist. Anyone could tell you that Donovan was an emotionally unstable and a lost cause at best, but the Hall boy didn’t seem be daunted by it.

"Sounding like a Ravenclaw."

The remark seemingly directed at his own person floated to the humored newcomer’s ears. The kid was such a nerd. Definitely shared a trait or two with his little brother. In fact the only reason Don even had an idea of what a ‘Ravenclaw’ was is due to his brother’s ramblings. One could only block out so much before a few things sunk into his subconscious. “Hey freak, off the beach. Don’t you know this is Slytherin turf?” he said in a rather sharp manner. If not for the completely unintimidating content of the remark it might have scared someone. He hated himself for even being able to come up with a Harry Potter related comment like that, but who’s judging? Shaking his head at himself with a slight smirk, he stood next to the docile teen and stared off into the lake. How long had Tucker been staring at the water before his arrival? Although it was a nice sight, he didn’t have the patience for such a feat. However restless he may be, it wasn’t entirely impossible for him to remain in a spot and converse. With most it was, but there were the rare exceptions.

At the exact moment that someone entered his area, he felt a type of odd air come about him. It wasn't something he minded, it simply meant that a person exisited and that someone was in his space. He wondered hwo the person was of course, but he didn't want to turn around, and he didn't want to hear the person or even sense the person. He simply wanted to be alone, just him the water and the sounds of nature. No humans. Was that so bad? Was it so bad to want to be alone, to simply want to be a person who didn't need to be with other people. No that wasn't a problem, it was what he we called anti-social. No it wasn't a problem...but he would need to get over it if he was going to be in this town.

A soft sigh left his body as he looked around the lake as he noticed a swan land on the water and then fly around for a moment. He smiled and chuckled slightly as it took full flight and flew into the distance, its perfectly white body turning into some type of perfect star. It was so amazing...so perfect...so....

“Hey freak, off the beach. Don’t you know this is Slytherin turf?”

The teenager frowned slightly for a moment as he sighed and closed his eyes for a moment, hsi voice comming out cool and calm. "Simply because you kow of the same novel in which I talk about, gives you no reasont o engage with conversation with me." He said simpyl as he opened his eyes and noticed the person was standing next to him.

Hmm...that was interesting...the person seemed to move next to him. Tucker looked up for a moment as he noticed that the person was a friend of his Donovan Adams. Someone from a long time ago..someone who was close person in his life, but at the same time, a secret friend. Whatever he wanted to call it, Donovan was an interesting person.

"And least of all did I exspect to her it from you." He said with a soft chuckle of his lips and a warm smile.

Noticing an uncomfortable shift in the serene boy, it was obvious that his presence was felt. However instead of investigating the intrusion like most people would, Tucker simply continued to stare off somewhere between the lake and his thoughts. At first Donovan felt a bit uncomfortable as well as he caught on quickly that his presence was not exactly welcome. Should he leave the teen to his meditation like state as it seemed he wanted? No, getting rid of him was not nearly that easily accomplished. Besides, if the day dreamer had taken the time to actually look at the newcomer he might not have decided on such a less than warm welcome.

"Simply because you know of the same novel in which I talk about, gives you no reason to engage with conversation with me."

The kid had a bite to him that wasn’t usually displayed. Raising his eyebrow with slight amusement at the cold remark, Don looked down at the sharp tongued teen. Had anyone else decided to reply like that, well the peaceful scene would be greatly disturbed. Since the comment was due to mistaken identity, or at least he hoped so, it did nothing to light his short fuse. Even so, he couldn’t really imagine him and Tucker having anything resembling a throw down. The kid was wise beyond his years and one of the most courageous souls he knew. If it was possible for the Adams wreck to have respect for anyone, it would most likely be Tucker.

"And least of all did I expect to her it from you."

Finally the less than attentive boy had taken the time to actually look to who is was speaking to. About damn time. While he seemed to be moving in a more relaxed and calm state, Donovan was one who stayed in the fast lane generally. Sure he had his bouts of incredible laziness, but this is usually between constant searches for some form of entertainment. “Yea, I don’t know where that came from. Then again, I’m not sure where your little snide remark came from either? You shouldn’t throw rudeness around like that; someone will end up getting their feeling hurt.” His sincerity held about as much validation as an arsonist teaching proper fire safety, but it wasn’t meant to be taken seriously. As he sat down next to the verbal assailant, his eyes switched from the teen to the lake. He wasn’t sure exactly what had enthralled Tucker so much, but not surprisingly he wasn’t seeing it. The perspective of one who sees things knowing that he must appreciate them to their full extent is much different than a irresponsible musician stumbling through life. “I feel like I’m interrupting something and should leave you alone, but too bad. Is something on your mind or are you simply picking up on Mother Nature’s good vibes?”
