Chandler Massey, who plays Will, apparently said at the Kids Chocie Awards that Days would be going through with a gay storyline (although he didn't say if it woudl involve Will and Chad). He did seem excited about it though, and he said it would begin this summer.

I just saw this article online, about DAYS gearing up to get ready for their summer gay storyline.

Days is hiring 90210 actor, Freddie Smith to play Sonny. And the character hs's suppposed to be a love interest for is being kept hush-hush at the moment.

Yep, he airs tomorrow! And yeah, I have no clue how this is gonna go. I'm curious and I'm glad they are having it be Will (more chance for longevity if it's with a legacy character IMO) but totally not getting my hopes up either.

I'm just gonna watch and see how they handle this whole thing and where it goes!

I haven't seen anything yet. I'm debating on tuning in once and a while. Before, I was so emotionally attached to Luke for a year and half that by the time Noah arrived, I was already a slave to ATWT and their pairing.

This time around, it's a show I've never seen with characters I know nothing about and no history engraved in my head beforehand that I can't imagine going through that amount of pain and torture again no matter how much DOOL might screw it up.

And because this is a soap, and soaps post-Nuke like to bring characters on just to say, "Look! We've got a gay couple," I can't imagine they'll have a long stay. So, why not tune in?

But like you said, we need a non-jackass to upload this stuff. I have since retired.
