And yet we haven't in forever!

Can you believe it's David? Do you think Nikki will actually find out he's a killer? Do you think Walter will give him an assignment in Genoa City soon? Who could he try to kill?

Do you think the writers knew it was David all along or just decided to do this because his storyline is a snoozefest?

Is Sabrina long for this world, or is she falling as flat for other people as she is for me?

Why is Phyllis being such a bitch to Amber? Girl finally gets her shit together and her boyfriend's mom is screwing her over.

Can you believe Chloe just signed a contract?

OMG David was a SHOCK. I totally think the new writers changed direction and resurrected the SL. I'm wondering if this means bye bye Vincent though. I have no fucking idea who he could try to kill and can you believe that he was/is a hit man to begin with!?!

Because I don't think Phyllis has ever liked Amber to begin with. Although I've been loving her.

I don't like Victor with Sabrina, no. I don't know why--it just doesn't work for me. And it's not even the fact that she's Victoria's best friend!

I loved Daniel and Amber progressing from an awkward hookup to a relationship. I hope Phyllis fails in her effort to split them up.

Jeff and Gloria are the highlight of the show for me right now, oddly enough! They just crack me up every time they're on. And the actors look like they're having a fabulous time!

Ack. I phrased that sentence wrong. I meant I wonder HOW they are gonna make Vincent go bye bye. But yeah I really think they ruined his character. I quite enjoyed it when he was swooning over Nikki during the Senate race. A man on a soap catering to a woman made me all warm and happy. Then we got gambling and this and I'm over it. Too bad as I have always liked Vincent.

I never liked Lily and Daniel together. And I like Michael so to see his Daniel and Amber working has been great. I just adore them together.

Did you see Little Richard? They rock and I still think it is a CRIME that Judith didn't get nominated. I could watch the Baldwin clan all damn day. And I totally think that Ted and her are having a blast - which makes it fun for us!

Did I see? Darling, I've seen every damned Y&R for the last, I don't know, four years or something. When we come home from a vacation we spend four hours catching up.

Some folks seem to hate that the show is getting Baldwin/Fisher/Bardwell heavy, and honestly I think there was a period of Michael/Lauren overkill during the strike, but give me a daily dose of Kevin and Gloria, together if possible, and I am a happy man. How Kristoff St. John got an Emmy over Greg Rikaart (not to mention Trent) is beyond me...the man is like human valium.

Hee. What do you think of Hogan being hired as head writer? Oh and I have no idea about LR but I did notice that as well.

I LOVE the Baldwin/Fisher/Bardwell contingent so much. I mean I don't get why anyone would rather watch Neil and that drone Karen instead of them. Gloria and Kevin make me laugh out loud all the time - something that never happens on ATWT. And Michael and Lauren being on so much during the strike didn't bother me. I still recall the days when they were never used except to prop up other folks so I always relish them. And don't even get me started on Kristoff winning. I mean, really? Come ON people.

What do you think of Adam and Heather?

I don't know much about Hogan, except that he has been head writer on two other shows I have watched (Days and ATWT) but never when I was watching. I think the suits are panicking because the ratings keep falling, and I'm not really sure whose fault that is, but bringing in a new head writer seems to be the go-to move.

I didn't think I could but I'm enjoying Adam and Heather. This is the first time I haven't found Heather annoying since they brought her on, and the first time I've found Adam lovable. (The moment when he got rid of Sabrina's mom and Victoria clapped for him? Possibly my favorite Newman moment of the last month.)

I get what you mean about Michael and Lauren but it did seem like they were having a love scene a week for a while there. And I really don't dig when we start looking into Michael's past. I don't know why.

I swear if we get another singing story with Neil and Karen and this little Jesus-singing robot girl I am going to scream. I've already said some very unkind things while this plot has been playing out!

Was it just me, or was yesterday's episode pretty much just an excuse to see Thad Luckinbill shirtless?

I just started getting into Y&R again (on my days off).

This is something that has me scratching my head since I started watching again: Was Victoria de'sorased, or is this another Victoria? Heather Tom is the last actress I remember playing her (I think), and she looks much older than the recent actress currently playing Victoria.

I'm over the moon that Amber is on and played by the same actress because I've loved her since Bold and the Beautiful.

Love the Gloria/Michael/Kevin dynamic; I refer to Gloria as "crazy eyes"

Amelia Heinle is playing the same Victoria. She does seem younger now that she's married to J.T. (and they're married in real life, too!) but I'm pretty sure she's still the same age. Until recently she was co-C.E.O. at Newman Enterprises and she was married to Brad Carlton, who is obviously old enough to have once been romantically entangled with her mother...

Yep. She fell for J.T. when her marriage to Brad was falling apart just as his relationship with Colleen was crumbling. It started out as a one-time fling and then, much later, turned into something more. Then she got pregnant and wasn't sure who the father was...went into a coma after having a piece of the Clear Springs project fall on her...nearly died of preeclampsia, forcing the Newmans to decide whether to save her or the baby (the fight over which contributed to the divorce of Victor and Nikki)...finally woke up long after having Reed and having it determined that J.T. was the father...and married him in Victor's living room.

I did see the marriage episode.

Hogan was head writer of ATWT when I watched years back and when it was, you know, GOOD. He brought Rose to life, changed Babs from a domestic diva to the lovely villainess she is now and had a nice habit of playing vets. Plus I was in love with Molly and her daughter w/ Holden Abigail. I was kinda surprised when he fell flat on Days but that soap is really almost a different genre imo. I think he'll do better on Y&R. And so far so good.

I'm as surprised as you with the Heather/Adam pairing. She was such a bore but I like them together and that moment with him and Zara was fantastic!

Anytime Y&R wants Thad to be shirtless I'm Ok with that. Although he is older than I thought he was. He's in his 30s which surprised me a little. I looked his age up when I learned that he and Amelia were getting married because I wanted to see the age difference and lo and behold they are like 2 years apart. Plus Thad has a twin. :D

Two thoughts. One: I didn't realize the actress playing Chloe was Maggie from AMC. (That's Bianca's lesbian lover.) I sort of like her more now.

Two: How the hell will the show redeem Chloe after this little stunt?

Yeah the actress just chopped her hair off. She looks different. Plus you want to talk about a SL with no payoff? THAT was ridiculous. I watched that SL for a few years and it makes Luke and Noah seem like god damn porn stars compared to what AMC did (or didn't do).

I was just thinking about that. She signed a contract, right? I can't see how they can but then again Amber is still here after drugging Cane and "marrying" him so I guess it is possible. But I was more invested in Amber - I had watched her for years on B&B before she showed up in Genoa City so that helped. But pregnant? I dunno what they are gonna do with this whole thing.

Plus I want Adrian off my screen. That guy BORES me to death.
